Mercure Bloomsbury is on a superb location. Major tourist attractions and shopping centers can be reached within a 5-minute walk. Buses and taxis are also available right outside the hotel so you getting around will be easy breezy.
Nice rooms and decently priced. Facilities could do with a touch of TLC and the WiFi was pretty much non existent in my room. If I did manage to get on it would stop me out after about 30 seconds.
1 Star because there's no negative stars rating! This hotel is not cleaned at all. The carpet was probably last cleaned a few weeks before my stay. Chair full of dust. Noise from the corridor just don't let you sleep at all and staff not very helpful.
NEVER BOOK THERE IF YOU HAVE A RISK NOT TO GO: HARDLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, ZERO REACTIVITY DESPITE DOZENS OF EMAILS OR CALLS. 8 MONTHS AFTER A ROOM BOOKED DURING THE LOCKDOWN STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER AND MY MONEY!...
