Rooms were neat and tidy. Customer service was excellent. Checking in was seemless as room was prebooked. Rooms: The tipple room is neat and tidy. Although the beds were small and the room was small as well, therefore offered minimal space to move around. The toilet was very neat, with adequate provision of clean towels and toiletries for the duration of the trip. TV, though working was less entertaining . Overall, being a retuning guest, i can say that the rooms are worth every penny. Nearby activities: The hotel is close to several areas of inerest. The big ben, museum, London Eye, Russel Square etc. Post office, as we had to mail some stuff, food and drinks. Safety: Highly safe environment. The hotel provided us with not just a cozy feeling but also a feeling of safety of life and personal effects. They also offer free baggage handling services if you have later flights and you have to check out. Your bags and contens are very safe. Walkability: The centralised position of the hotel in London gave us access to numerous areas of interest in walkable distance Food & drinks: Free breakfast provided by the hotel is buffet. It is a luxurious English breakfast worth around £60 each in my assessment. However, you need to select the breakfast inclusive option during booking. Otherwise, you may have to pay a fee of £15 each for breakfast. Whichever option you choose, it's worth every penny.
Use this Hotel for parking, bit tight if you have a long car, but great location
I am working at this hotel as electrician the whole hotel his getting new make over it reopens summer 2026.Hotel highlightsHigh-tech
I paid for the worst room of the hotel When we arrived, the room smelled of fried fish. When we left the morning after, there was a bacon smell. This is also because old windows that it's impossible to close properly. Unhappy! I will make an official complaint.
I use the parking, it is really close to the centre. Good and safe place for parking.Location: 5/5
Hotel location great! Very easy process to park. After we parked we exited through the door up to the main floor of the hotel with no issues at all. Unfortunately returning back to the hotel we went to enter through a different entrance of the hotel where I assume he’s a security man who worked at the hotel spotted me approaching the hotel and came out before I even entered to ask if he can help me? Not in a friendly way! I told the security man no it’s ok and that I was returning to my car that was parked at this hotel, he then said that way pointing to the underground where the cars drive through.. He was telling me to walk down a path where it had signs saying no pedestrian walking! I asked if I was able to take my little boy to the toilet before we went back to our car and he said no and refused to let me in. I actually went back up to the hotel through a different entrance where hotel staff at the bar were happy to help and direct me to the toilet.. Apart from the extremely rude man who was clearly on a power trip! Apart from that we were happy with the parking. To the man in his possible 60’s with a moustache and dark hair who hangs around the door opposite where you drive into the car park please do a course on customer service!
The room was tidy. It was cleaned every day, and I'll give 5 stars for the cleanlyness, but the room lacked ventilation, and it became too hot when the temperature outside passed 30°C or more. The pillows were a little too hard for my taste, and I couldn't use the duvet, because the room was too hot to use it. It was also not possible to pull the curtain all the way in front of the window see the picture because it was stuck in the curtain rail in the ceiling.
breakfast is tasty. Service is good.. They charged me 1p to hold my suitcase and handbag for a few of hours until my flight. My room overlooked the backyard so I can't say much of the view of the front rooms. Fantastic neighbourhood!!! The 6 elevators take immediately to yr room there is no waiting.
Great hotel in London. Part of a group of similar hotels around Bloomsbury. Offering highly competitive budget rates at traditional properties. Highly recommended for visitors who just need bed and breakfast and will be out of the hotel during the day. I have stayed many times. Great memories with my father
Can't really comment on the hotel. Just parked my car here for Great Ormand Street Hospital. My car seemed to like it tho and had no complaints.
