Good location, couple of minutes walk from Haymarket station and several bus routes. Called into the bar on Friday and Saturday nights after 10pm to be informed that the bar was closed. Room amenities were good with both a kettle and a coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Room does not have USB sockets which would have been beneficial for device charging.
Great stay at the Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a really convenient location for getting around the city. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Would happily stay here again.nnPaid parking available
Great location! It is very close to the Haymarket train station. The hotel offers 24hr front desk, room service and luggage storage. The staff was very helpful, they booked taxis for us and offered free dental kits. It is also very close to a Tesco, which can be handy. Overall a great option for short stays, with good price-quality.
Good value for money for a short stay. The location is great — walking distance to most places, which was really convenient. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.nnThe only downside was that the room was very cold. I contacted reception and was told it would be sorted, but the temperature didn’t really change. At checkout, I was told they keep the air conditioning on full, although I didn’t fully understand the explanation, which was a bit confusing.nnOther than this, it’s a good hotel overall and I’d recommend it for a short stay due to the location and value for money.
I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket from 28 November to 1 December. The hotel has a good location and a very nice entrance. The staff were neutral—neither particularly friendly nor unfriendly.nnThe rooms were functional but a bit unusual, as even solo rooms had an extra bed next to the main one. The hotel also has a nice bar, though a bit expensive, with quirky bar staff. Overall, it’s a nice option for a short stay and does the job.
