If i could give it zero i would! The beds are horrendous and in our room we had plywood boards under the mattress to stop us going through. It would probably be comfier sleeping on the floor but that had holes in the floor board. No Kettle or hair dryer so be prepared to bring your own. The only good thing was the shower was semi warm. You might as well stay in a holiday inn where you know what you are getting is going to be good.
We have had a weekend stay booked here with friends for months. Today our group was called to say that our booking tomorrow was being cancelled ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’. Turns out, those circumstances are that they are reselling our room for more than twice the price to shamelessly cash in on the death of the Queen. From the look of other reviews it looks like we dodged a bullet or more accurately a basement stopover with bed bugs. Look forward to seeing the copy and paste reply everyone else gets. To offer us zero help whilst we try to get our money back.
This has been the worst "Hotel" ever. One of the receptions showed us our room in the basement which was extremely small, smelled like chlorine and had a window to a very dirty and disgusting "backyard". How they can rent this place without a doubt is a shame. We then didn't even checked in and left immediately. I didn't want to stay there any longer. When we told the people this room is absolutely horrible they didn't even care. Please consider it twice before booking at this place.
I booked a two bed at a different Oyo hotel, was then subsequently moved to this hotel. They did not honor the booking or room size, they claimed not to have two bed rooms even though there’s photos of them. Then they refused to give offer a refund. Worst hotel in London, better to stay on the streets instead of this place.Rooms: 1/5
Very positively surprised about the size of the room, the cleanliness and especially the kindness of Mr. Ali who was looking after the reception and is someone who not just only does his job, but is happy to serve his guests. He made us feeling welcome. Next time absolutely again.
Strange check in process with the front desk receptionist, also not overly helpful. Our bedroom was very poor. Carpet was stained in several places, floor under carpet was unlevel in places, damaged bed side locker , also plaster on ceiling was peeling off.... The bin had not been emptied. We got a very bad sleep due to street noise from outside, closing the window made the room unbearably hot.. There was a coffee machine in the lobby. However on asking if we could get a coffee we were told no ?? Very disappointing stay, just fortunate for us that it was only for one night. I wish there was something positive I could say about this place, unfortunately I cannot.
It was so gross! The room didn‘t look anything like it looked on the pictures. The bathroom was filled with mould. I would never have used that! The smell was horroble abe the walls and beds were dirty as well. There were hair in our beds and the curtains right beside the bed touching it had some „marks of some thicker liquid“ on them…right beside the head…
Please do not book this hotel, if you want to live like a normal human being, not as an unloved animal. Our room was based in the basement. Which is, without seeing the room, horrible. The door and the dark ground make the way to the room terrifying. And then we got to the room, which was messy and dirty. It smelled like chlorine. Even the window to the dark manhole was not enough. Check-in was 15 o'clock. We came at 14.45 and had to wait. Unfriendly receptionist didnt even look at us, when we talked to him. Everything went as badly as you can imagine. I hope they will improve significantly, because I never made an experience like this before.
This place was atrocious bad smell from the ensuite. Bed base was broken it had a sheet of mdf placed under it and then mattress on top of that. Stains mark's on all walls ceiling and carpets. Section in corner of the room that was in need of paintwork whole room could of do with paint and new carpets. Chewing gum stuck to carpets and had turned black. Albeit a basic hotel this was not even that. Aadi reception person was helpful. The cleaners had no common sense. That's all I will say about them. Door closer on staircase door catching and not opening properly, as this is a fire exit so health and safety risk. Overall lucky we were out and about many of the days we stayed. Would not recommend staying here or return to stay. Shabby hotel. That's putting it mildly. Good location though. Especially for sight seeing.
Hotel was okay for 1 night stay. Beds were very soft and springy. Check in was very good and we were allowed to leave our luggage the following day till midday with no charge.
