I’d been past here so many times as an adult and always wanted to see something, so fortunately I was able to a few weeks ago. The staff were all friendly and Diverse, the vegan treats were tasty, the hot drinks fabulous and the show was one of the best I’ve seen. Highly rated place with great content, worth your time to come and see something here or even just get a tea and cake and relax.
The venue's staff is very kind. I ordered a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin, it was delicious. £7.25 for both. The place has wheelchair access.
I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Jackson’s Lane and it’s frankly a joke of a ‘company’. I have put on two events external hires in the theatre showcasing young talent in Haringey. In both situations I faced rude and cold staff who were hostile to the bands and the audience. That’s just the start of it, not only did they not bother to give any support for young talent which they claim they are a charity for, they also underpayed us twice. After our second gig I went through the money noticing a massive difference in what we owed, a difference of hundreds of pounds. They claimed they were right and my calculations were wrong. They say after I received an email saying that I was right and owed them hundreds less. They also said that there was a ‘mistake’ from the first gig and owed us hundreds of pounds. As young musicians who put time and effort into the gig we felt cheated and scammed by a charity claiming to support events like ours. I think it’s completely embarrassing that a mistake of that much money had been made when dealing with people who are new to the industry, it’s not exactly the warm welcome we had hoped for. We faced multiple issues in both times we worked there and will definitely not be coming back. It’s a joke of a company. However, whilst this has been upsetting, I would like to highlight Andy Martin who works as front of house who has been consistently nice and supportive even through they hostility of other staff.
Great location for multiple reasons - friendly people, super cafe with great coffee, good wifi suitable for working from a laptop. Lots of bookable studios with different classes going on - I do yoga with Victoria here which is one of my all-time favourite classes. Highly recommended!
Brilliant place for taking the family out. I never knew such a place existed around there. Definetly will be going back. My daughter's loved the show and parking can be a bit of a struggle on the side roads.
