We went to see Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre and it was absolutely incredible! What a spectacular production. I truly love musicals, and this one was fantastic and full of magic.nI deeply admire all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes of a show like this. On top of that, the theatre itself is beautiful. Highly recommended if you are in London!
Great experience at the Sondheim Theatre, where we went to see Les Misérables, and the production was outstanding: powerful performances, excellent staging, and a very memorable atmosphere. The theatre itself is beautiful and well located, and the staff were helpful and professional.nnTwo areas could be improved. During the interval, many people stood in the middle of the walkways, which made it difficult to move comfortably, especially when trying to get to the toilets. Also, the space between seats is quite tight, so legroom can feel limited.nnOverall, though, it was a fantastic evening and a theatre I would happily recommend.
The performance was brilliant and the building itself is beautiful.nThe production was truly outstanding, and the theatre has a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the overall experience was slightly diminished by the lack of proper facilities. There is effectively no cloakroom – only space for around 30 winter coats – which meant we had to keep our coats folded on our laps throughout the entire performance.nnIt was disappointing, especially as we came dressed elegantly, hoping for a true theatre experience rather than a cinema-like setting. While the artistic quality on stage was exceptional, this practical detail took away from the sense of occasion and respect that theatre usually offers.
Brilliant show but shout out to the staff as they made our evening so relaxed and enjoyable. Pre order for interval drinks made it so easy too and these were ready and easily collected at the interval when I went to the bar. Plenty of ushers to assist and very attentive to those who may have needed assistance. The show wasn't half bad either and location is perfect for pre theatre dinner and commuting.
This is a beautiful small and intimate theatre. The Les Miserables performance was excellent. Comfortable seating all close to the stage as the building was created well before amplifers.nWell worth the experience!!nHighly recommended.
