Massive theatre! Unsure about the decision to leave the theatre in a semi restored state, but it is easy to see that it must have been magnificent when first built. The acoustics are excellent. Saw A glass menagerie. Was a very good performance. Upgraded to row M in the raised stalls. Excellent view.
A beautiful space that's easy to navigate around and comfortable seating. The bar is well staffed and the staff very helpful throughout. Good accessibility with lifts to different levels. Make sure to not leave the loos to the last minute though as for men they're quite a trek away and up stairs.
This was my first visit to the theatre. Although I know the park and the Phoenix well. The theatre interior has seen past days of glory. All a little decayed in interior finish, it is a fully functional theatre.nI went to see The Glass Menagerie, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. This venue is as good as anything in the Westend.nDefinitely worth visiting.
The performance of A Christmas Carol at Alexandra Palace Theatre was a delightful experience. The combination of a talented cast, set and props, music, and direction created a truly magical theatrical experience. This production is a perfect holiday treat for families and theatre lovers alike. It serves as a reminder of the importance of kindness, compassion, and the spirit of Christmas. If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out A Christmas Carol on stage. It's a timeless classic that will leave you feeling inspired and full of holiday cheer.
Alexandra palace is a must see but the view of London and the park surroundings is wonderful.
