The theatre is historic and unique. Lots of places to grab a drink and they offer an order to your seat option which is good. We sat in the stalls and the seats were comfortable and had good leg room I’m 6” 3’ and was comfortable throughout the whole show.
Amazing theatre. The staff were all lovely, from the security to the bar and the front of house. They were all really friendly and welcoming. The seats in the stalls were really comfortable and our 'restricted view' seats didn't feel too restricted at all. We were in the end seats on row GnThere was a good selection of drinks and snacks at the bar toonHighly recommend seeing a show at the Phoenix. We saw Stranger things: the first shadow. I highly recommend this show too!
I really love how cool the space itself is, definitely a tight space for intermission, but has so much charm! I do wish they had thought a little more about anyone who sits under the balcony because you cannot see some key parts of the show. I bought the cheaper seats, but did not realize how much of the show would be obstructed. Overall still had a great time!
Easily accessible from Tottenham Court Road tube station. Some interesting deco features which are always nice to appreciate as they are totally lacking in modern theatres.nThere's a bit of a slope so theoretically it should be possible to have a good view but if there's a tall person in front, the view would be restricted.nA bit more leg room compared to some other theatres.
We saw Stranger Things - The First Shadow. The theatre has excellent facilities and very friendly staff. The play was amazing. Word of advice. Be careful of sitting in the last 2 rows at the back of the stalls as vision is limited. Really enjoyed all the same.
