If you’re a Harry Potter fan visiting London, this theatre production is an absolute must. The show itself is truly magical, at times it felt more like a spectacular magic performance than a traditional play. It was captivating from start to finish and never once felt dull or repetitive. The effects, the storytelling, and the atmosphere all combined to create an unforgettable experience that stands out from ordinary theatre shows.nnThat said, I would advise being mindful when choosing your seats. Some of the seating can feel quite cramped, and in certain spots I found it difficult to see everything on stage. To make the most of it, I’d recommend checking the seating plan carefully before booking.nnOverall, though, it’s a brilliant experience and one that every Harry Potter fan should have on their list when in London.
Absolutely magical experience! My first time at the Palace Theatre and it couldn’t have been better. I went with my daughter to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a breathtaking, epic production! The play is brilliantly staged, the actors are phenomenal, and the special effects left us completely blown away. If you're a Harry Potter fan, this is an absolute must-see.nnThe play is in two parts each around 3 hours with a 20-min intermission, and there’s a 2-hour break between Part 1 and Part 2. You can store your coats and bags for £1. Drinks and snacks including cocktails and non-alcoholic options are available at the bar and can be brought into the theatre.nnThe Palace Theatre itself is beautiful and historic, opened in 1891, it was originally intended to be the home of English grand opera. Today it’s one of London’s most iconic West End venues, located right by Leicester Square Station, in the heart of the theatre district. The atmosphere of the area is buzzing, especially in the evening, making it a perfect setting for a magical night out.nnHighly recommend!
We had the privilege of seeing the two-part performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theater. And what an experience it was! A beautiful theater dating back to 1891, which still retains the charm of that era today.nnThe staff are very friendly and helpful, and the actors who performed the play are world class! I recommend everyone to see a play when visiting London! An absolute must.
A Magical Treat for Harry Potter Fans – Must Watch!nnIf you're a Harry Potter fan, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is an absolute must-watch. The two-part show brings the magic of the wizarding world to life in a way that’s both nostalgic and completely fresh. The stage effects are jaw-dropping, the storytelling is gripping, and the performances are spot-on. It's truly an unforgettable experience.nnThat said, I’d highly recommend booking seats in the stalls or dress circle. The view from the balcony is quite high up, and depending on who’s sitting in front of you, your view could be significantly obstructed. For a show that relies so heavily on visual effects and detailed stagecraft, you’ll want the best vantage point possible. It’s worth the extra spend for a better experience.nnThe two parts are long, so plan accordingly—maybe even see them on separate days if you prefer not to sit through a marathon session. But trust me, it’s worth every minute. The way they’ve used lighting, illusions, and movement is unlike anything I’ve seen on stage before. You’ll leave the theatre feeling like you’ve just stepped out of Hogwarts.nnWhether you grew up with the books or just enjoy the films, this show captures the magic and emotion of the original series while adding a whole new dimension to the story. Don’t miss it—you’ll be spellbound!
I watched Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre and had a fantastic experience. I managed to get last-minute tickets in the very back row of the balcony, right in the middle. The view of the stage was still good, though it’s worth bringing £1 for the binoculars provided if you want a closer look. The show itself was brilliant, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Just be aware that the balcony is quite steep and the legroom is limited, so it can feel a little tight. Overall, a magical night out!
