Very elegant and nice theatre. As with most UK theatres, not enough toilet facilities however they were clean. There are no lifts and a number of stairs to reach some of the stalls. Good stage for shows and easy to get to with good transport links. Can be very busy outside due to its closeness to Chinatown and Leicester Square.
I've been lucky enough to attend a few shows in London theatre but in my humble opinion this particular theatre was really lovely. May not look like much from the outside but inside very stylish and really pleasant. Seating was nice too. Highly recommended venue. We watch the MJ Musical which was excellent!
MJ the Musical at this venerable theater from 1930 was an experience. Intimate as old theaters are, friendly staff and nice classic interior. It is large, a full 1727 seats, but with a good view of the stage, and fortunately there is a solid punch in the sound. This gave Michael Jackson's classics a taste for more. Top dancing, acting performances and not least the band that played everything live on stage. An incredibly good experience
I recently visited the Prince Edward Theatre to see MJ The Musical and had a fantastic experience. The theatre itself is beautiful, well-kept, and easy to navigate, with friendly and helpful staff who made the evening run smoothly. The seating was comfortable with a great view of the stage, and the sound and lighting were excellent, really bringing the show to life.
Myself and my partner went to watch MJ the music at this theatre, we sat in the slip side box view dress circle which only seats 4 people, we had a really good view and only had to lean forward a little to see the whole of the stage. There are toilets and a bar on every level of this theatre. A little overpriced for the drinks but I would recommend this theatre we would go back again!!
