We went to see Frozen at Drury lane theatre late April 2024 and this is way better than Lyceum theatre but Lyceum theatre is still good. The show was the greatest show I’ve ever seen and the actors were great. Very clean and spacious. Washrooms were very posh. Probably the cleanest place I’ve ever been to. THIS IS THE BEST THEATRE I’VE EVER BEEN TO.
It was a great joyful experience.nnWe first had afternoon tea at the Grand Saloon in the theatre. The food and environment were super. Decorations were nice and classic. We enjoyed the afternoon tea. The staff was friendly.nnThen we moved to the theatre to enjoy the musical, Frozen. We were sitting at the Stalls. It’s impressive. The seats were quite small. Alcohol & drinks bought from the theatre could bring to your seat. The play was great and it was so professional. The stage was also nice and high tech which enriched the experience.nnRecommended.
The Theatre Royal is an exceptional venue that offers an unforgettable experience. From the stunning architecture to the impeccable performances, this theatre truly has it all. The seating is comfortable, the sound quality is top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this theatre to anyone looking for a night of entertainment. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see a show at the Theatre Royal!
I've been to a lot of theatres in London but I have to be honest this has to be one one of the best.nnIt's has a beautiful traditional feel, but it all feels brand new and modern, too. It suits this show completely. I felt like I was actually at Anna and Elsas home when I was inside. They also displayed the costumes throughout the entrance.nnStaff everywhere were really welcoming and inviting. They were all happy to help if you needed something and pointed you in the right direction.nnIf you're thinking of bringing your children, definitely do, for a first experience of a show and theatre, this has to be the best there is. The break in the middle also felt extended, which is great as you don't feel rushed in the longer queues ladies.nnThe shop felt tiny though, it was heaving and we opted to go after the show it was busier we ended up coming back the next day so we could have a proper look around.nnI hope that I get to come to this theatre again in the future as I really enjoyed it. The show as a Disney and Frozen fan was just incredible.
During the Easter half term as a little treat, I took my 8-year-old niece to see her favourite Disney princess movie; live on stage at London’s West End, Frozen the Musical. Sadly, it’s set to close its final curtains in September.nnI asked her what were her thoughts on the show, she replied ‘’it was SPECTACULAR’’. And I must admit I agree. Firstly, Theatre Royal Drury Lane is a remarkable venue; I was impressed by how much it was modernised and the seats were relatively comfortable in terms of legroom. The staff were all very friendly, and everyone I interacted with seemed very happy and helpful. The overall production of the show was amazing, my niece said she loved how sparkly Elsa’s dress and she enjoyed all the scenes with flashes of lighting and snow.nnOverall, I would that this show serves as a great introduction for little ones especially Disney Princess to enjoy theatre shows.
