A noisy, but cosy and amazingly located hotel! If you sleep like a baby at night, or are simply planning to come to the hotel room to collapse and just wake up, it is absolutely perfect for you! The family owned hotel is very clean, in a stunning location. Breakfast absolutely great, and close to all amenities. The owners will do anything they can to help you if anything is missing. Very quiet during the day.
I was pleased with the room here, was clean and tidy and towels and tea/ coffee in room. Bad points- there is no elevator and my room was on top floor, quite tiring climbing all those steps. They said I had a city view but all I could see were tall buildings on same street! I would stay here again as its near the Waterfront and good value for money.
Lovely hotel. Very clean, comfy beds The staff are all.lovely. The only problem is the load music at weekends. If you are young and stay out late then you will love it. If you are older like us go somewhere else at weekends. . Not the hotels fault, it is a really nice hotel.
Really enjoyed staying here with my daughter for a night. The room was clean and tidy and the location was ideal for days out at the pier head and museum etc. The staff are absolutely lovely too, really helpful and friendly. The only drawback for me was the stairs, I had to fold and carry a buggy up the stairs with a bag and toddler in tow. Also I was woken up at half 5 in the morning by a rude guest talking right by my room but that isn’t the hotels fault, Overall I enjoyed it and would stay again!
Excellent price for a very clean and comfortable room in the very centre of Liverpool! The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic, in a very attractive and central area of Liverpool, surrounded by great restaurants and bars. My experience staying here has always been wonderful. I do not believe you can find a better deal for price, location and comfort elsewhere!
Stayed for one night with excited children. Room was clean, bright and just what I expected from seeing photos, which was a pleasant surprise. A little noise but hey I'm in a city centre! Perfect base, and I cut a deal with the secure car park around the corner...... Bonus!!
An amazing stay! It was my first night away in a hotel with no parents and all the women on reception were so kind and welcoming. Very safe, perfect city centre location, incredibly clean. The WiFi didn’t stretch to my room but it wasn’t too much of an issue! Definitely go and stay! I will be revisiting for sure. XRooms: 5/5
Bed and pillows were good and the place was quiet at night. Location is great better impossible. The hotel/rooms doesn't look very nice. We were in the 4th floor and there weren't any lift. I paid a good value compared to another hotels in the area. It's an ok place. Clean and very well located but not a place to spend much time.
Hotel price was very good, reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy, and it was quiet, despite it being opposite a pub. My only gripe was the lack of blackout curtains, and there's lights outside the hotel, I like zero light at night to get a good night's sleep.
Plus points: very clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. They may be no frills but they're tastefully decorated. The location is good, close to public transport and attractions. There's a few cafes nearby and a pub opposite - The Slaughterhouse - although it wasn't to my taste no cask beer. That pub can make things a bit noisy at night however. Above all, avoid, or at least check before booking if you have trouble getting up stairs. If you're relatively young and mobile, they're fine. However if you're older or physically disabled, they will be challenging. Particularly if you are on the 3rd floor. I would also avoid if you like home comforts, i.e, a morning breakfast. For that, head to the nearby City Cafe. It's a nice little caff. That said, as long as you know what you're getting and what you aren't, as well Hotel 46 offers good value as a place to stay for a night or two.
