More modern, clean and stylish rooms than many of the older hotels chains around Liverpool and often great rates. Evening meals are consistent amd are good to very good, the peppercorn sauce for the steak was the best I have had in a long while, much better than the Marriott's when they're restaurant is an actual steakhouse! The only downside is the continental part of the Breakfast. It's a bit limited compared so some I have e had at cheaper hotels such as Ibis styles and its crammed in a small side room. The cooked part is fine. 

On the whole a reliable and nice hotel with efficient staff.

Stayed for a 3 day stay after my wedding. Fantastic room, although needed some maintenance and was slightly dirty in areas. Staff service was brilliant, menu had plenty to offer although limited on vegan/vegetarian options. 
Staff were very accommodating, the bar could be more extensive but there was choice and if not other bars nearby. Visit again.

Stayed 1 night. Great location. Had a good view from the room. This was our second stay after not a great first time stay a couple of years ago. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was great. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend it

Decent. Really good hotel. Everything is close by but this gem is tucked away. It seems geared up for younger people with money to get inside and have a lot of fun. Got a good vibe about it straight away. Enjoyed the food also. Every bite.

The location is by the mersey, a short walk from town. There are plenty of food options and bars near by. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, albeit the lighting is not very practical, no decent light in bathroom for example. I found it far from ideal as a guy, I'd imagine it would be frustrating for woman. The gym has decent equipment, but a lot of it wasn't working or was not working well. It definitely needs servicing. The food was fine for breakfast, nothing special. Fairly well presented, but did the job. The coffee was good. I did receive the wrong breakfast which was annoying as I did explain what I wanted, but was rectified quickly. The parking is in a paid car park next door, which is sufficient, but not cheap. Overall not bad, but not as good as the flashy image would suggest.
