Nice, clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff including Ahmed at breakfast. We had a room with a great view. I gave 4 stars for location but was undecided if 4 or 5. If you like being by Mersey just across from Liver building it's a solid 5 stars. But a bit of a trek if you're out and about in Liverpool and just want to drop by quickly. Breakfast fine. Bars were a big hit with some of our party .
Had a gorgeous weekend stay at the Atlantic. We were first greeted by the pleasant and smiling face of Leah at reception who couldn’t have been more helpful and knowledgeable on our queries of the hotel and surrounding areas she made us feel completely at ease and comfortable with our decision to stay at the Atlantic hotel . Located on the picturesque water front you are really immersed into the stunning city of Liverpool with all desired activities in walking distance. Could not recommend enough.
Stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. Our room had a great view of the Liver Building and the river. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Table staff during the wedding meals worked non stop, particularly Alicia who was always happy to help and was really friendly, as were all other staff members.
Perfectly located a stone's throw from the docks and with views of the Liver Building to die for, this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. From the lovely friendly welcome, to the superb views from the room to the excellent breakfast, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is showing its age a little and a bit of paint would freshen it up a bit but this in no way detracted from our very enjoyable stay. Definitely recommended, especially if like us you can get a deal including breakfast.
Once again a terrific stay at the Atlantic Tower. Check in was simple and receptionist was very polite. We were given our room keys and pleased to see we were in a Privilege room facing the river.nVery nice room with everything you could need for an overnight stay.nI don't like the new set up of the restaurant/bar on the 2nd floor, bar is too bright with no atmosphere in the place. We preferred when the bar was used to be on the 1st floor, for some reason it was a much better atmosphere possibly because it was busier for dining, then guests stayed in the bar area after eating.nThe price for drinks is ridiculously expensive, no need to rip off your guests, £16.50 for 2 single rum and cokes, yes you might say city prices? but extortionate city prices. We didn't stay long, we went across the road behind the church to Ma Boyles a very nice Ale bar, £17.60 for 2 double rum and cokes yes city prices but reasonable in a really nice atmosphere.nBreakfast the following morning was very welcome, breakfast was buffet style if you wanted fried eggs you ordered them and they were brought to your table. We met the breakfast Chef Graham who was very friendly very polite and we had a laugh with him. Thanks Graham, we also met Leandra? who was all over the place, clearing tables and ensuring guests had everything they needed.nWe would certainly stay here again but wont stay in the bar in an evening, especially at the prices charged, they would be better reducing the cost of drinks at the bar encouraging guests to stay longer and not go searching for reasonable priced drinks.
