Spacious, clean and well decorated rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful.  All in all a positive experience staying here.  Also if you're a cricket fan and you stay during The Hundred you can play spot the cricketer.  However the rooms do cost more.

Right from the moment we walked in we were made to feel so welcome. Raika, the receptionist was really friendly,  very efficient and so polite. She talked us through everything we needed to know regarding our stay in a clear and concise manner. We also ate in the restaurant, waiting staff and food were also excellent. Would highly recommend staying here,  we will definitely be back  Rooms: Very comfortable and clean, king-size bed, lovely view over the golf course  Nearby activities: Golf course and Hampshire cricket club on the door step  Walkability: Retail park, bus stops and train station near by  Food & drinks: Food was excellent,  especially the desserts!

From 25 July 2024 was in Hilton Southampton. When arrived very warmly was greeted by Annabella at reception and very fast received the room’s card and the hotel’s information and she happily reserved restaurant for my diner. In restaurant after little waiting , I was welcomed nicely by great smile by Augusta, and gave me the place that I asked near the window and quickly took my drink orders and starters. The lady Molly served my drink and starters with warm smile and caring from heart and also Kieran was very good and brought my stake and continuously took care of me, very pleasant and warm. And during stay I received great service from everyone and also house keep delivered everything fast and politely. Thank you very much and hope to see you soon. Many regards  Food & drinks: Great prawn starter but if to have more seafood starters and main courses and salads. Had great Greek salad and file stake.

Hi. I was in Southampton from 9 May and location, view and service was very good. Great please to stay. And at night in the restaurant in the upper ground floor, I had reservation and the service was great with great people, Molly and Ben were the best and caring with great hospitality. I enjoyed it and will go back there for sure in few weeks. The breakfast team and their food was very good too. Good job and will be back Hilton team Southampton. Thanks and regards  Rooms: Clean room and with great view toward the forest, green, lake and golf course.  Food & drinks: Good service and clean with good food but need to have more options for diner please and more lamb & beef.

Great hotel Amazing staff especially KAREN at the honours desk massive thank you to her for her hospitality. Over priced one night cost £187 no food included amazing view of the cricket course tho .Rooms: 5/5

Nice and clean, with friendly staff on reception. They had massive issues with the room key machine, but they did all they could do. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was situated next to the cricket ground and 10 minute walk to pubs and shops, plus a retail park. I'm just glad work paid for it as it was soooooo expensive. £300 a night.  Nearby activities: Retail park 10 minute walk with tk maxx, greggs etc In opposite direction there was pubs, convenience stores and eateries. Cricket ground on the doorstep

We had a really good nights' sleep each night, very comfy and large beds, and blackout curtains. Good WiFi, plenty of sockets, free parking and lots of breakfast options, including allergen and vegan/veggie options. I would have liked some nuts, but otherwise had everything. Well-equipped little gym. Excellent service from all staff; friendly and helpful. Our room had a blocked sink when we arrived, which was sorted out as soon as we raised it the following morning. The bathroom had plenty of good quality toiletries. The tiles in the shower behind the soap basket could have been cleaner, but otherwise spotless.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Night team at the Hilton for going above and beyond their service. We had a pull out bed that was absolutely atrocious, with no chance of having a decent night's sleep. Upon a call to the front desk, asking for an extra duvet, but instead the lady very kindly arranged 2 extra beds!  Was really grateful for her actions!  Thank you

Best cricket ground in the country good food at good prices and if you can stay at the hilton which is very good get a balcony room. Don't let your wife spend all day in the spa though she will spend all your money on treatments that are actually very good and reasonably pricedRooms: 5/5

We weren’t here for the sports but what an eye opener to have a view room right into the cricket stadium.  Had a delicious afternoon tea at the hotel restaurant.  Would definitely stay again if doing a one night transfer before boarding a cruise ship in Southampton.
