I bought a 14 plate Mercedes E-Class Estate back in April 2021 and writing this review over 1.5 years later : Great car, no issues, brilliant. I just want to say: you may gather as much information as you can about the car you want to buy, be it MOTs, inspections, your mechanic's opinions etc. but lastly it all comes down to how trustworthy and honest the dealer is. So yes 5 stars, honest, kind and trustworthy. I drove by the place today and very good and positive memory, the car is still immaculate, thank you.

Brilliant experience. I found D J Whyman Cars Ltd very reliable and professional in their domain. The car price was very reasonable. My buying process was hassle free. I was told where the car was bought from and it was ready with new MOT and service on the pick up day. The car was cleaned to very high standards as if it newly arrived from showroom and that made me ask them about the products they used for cleaning and polish. I will highly recommend D J Whyman Cars Ltd to my friends and family. Thank you.

I went to view a car today with a view to test drive it and when my friend who is a mechanic starting asking questions the sales man became very defensive and rude and like a child walked away with test plates A very rude and arrogant man This put us off buying the car or indeed dealing with this place again Not recommended!!

Amazing.  1st purchase from these, and have to say, one of the most pleasant and honest I have ever been to. No pressure tactics, no sales patter, just want to help you find what you want and need.  Found a couple little things after cosmetic and they repaired without any question, for a used car sale, this is extraordinary in my opinion.  100% worth going to

Both Martin and Steve Whyman are very friendly gents and were very helpful all the way throughout my purchase. As with all used cars,  get an RAC or AA inspection before buying though as mine turned out to be seriously corroded on the rear axle. I'm pleased that Steve rectified the issue though, very quickly, and supplied me with a car to use while mine was in the garage.  Fingers crossed there are no more issues.

Friendly, professional, and helpful. Our son purchased a really good, documented and well serviced car. No pressure sales atmosphere really enhanced what can sometimes be a "tricky" process. Recommended.

Bought 3 cars from here first one returned as engine management light wouldn’t go off swapped for another car the clutch cable snapped whilst i was driving it to be told by the garage who repaired it that it had been bodged obviously to sell it on.My husband then bought a car from there again went back whilst under warranty due to engine management light coming on he has spent over £2000 in the past two years as we have had nothing but problems went back into Garage yesterday to be told it’s going to cost another £2500 to fix it again we still have the same problems as when it was sold to us absolute cowboys

Genuine local garage that really puts customer first. They're professional and friendly bunch to deal with, thankfully they aren't pushy and will help you buy a car that suits your needs. I highly recommend visiting D J Whyman when considering your next vehicle purchase.

Bought my Fiesta from them a couple of years ago and it's been fantastic. Minor issue at the start with the steering which the guys fixed quickly with no fuss under warranty, and it's been absolutely fine ever since. The guys are friendly and approachable but not 'sales-y' - they don't badger or pester you. They also dont buy category cars so you can be confident that what You're  buying is safe. Would definitely buy from them again.

Martin was extremely kind when I went to view, and very polite. Although I felt that some issues with the vehicle were hidden in the advert and photos before coming to view.  The infotainment screen in the car was extremely scratched up, from top to bottom and its not even a touchscreen!, and when looking at the advert, the screen is on and not in direct sunlight, so you can't actually see this until you go in person. Travelling over 1 hour solely to view this was a bit frustrating because of that,and if it was shown beforehand, I probably wouldn't have come up.  This ultimately led me to buy a car locally to me, in almost perfect condition, with a better part exchange price.
