I love this place! Delicious coffee, the perfect space for working or dining. The masala beans are my favourite! On top of this, the classes are amazing such as yoga, pilates and barre. Everyone here is so friendly and the service is amazing.
Oru's cafe is great - so many delicious things on the menu, I'm a big fan of their pastries and chai latte. The coffee is also very good. They let you bring your laptop on the weekdays - it's an enjoyable place to spend a couple of hours while getting coffee/lunch when you're working from home.nnI enjoyed the yoga classes here as well, though think they should allow more space between the mats, as it's difficult to sometimes properly do a pose as people are very close to you.
This place is so inflexible. I understand the need for a 0 late policy but there must be some leeway. I booked a 17:30 yoga class, and arrived at 17:34 because my bus was delayed and then got stuck on traffic. When I explained this and asked if i could be let in, staff refused. I asked for a refund. Was told what they can do is they can not charge with me the late charge policy. As if they're being generous for not charging me more than I've already paid for the class. Shame, it was one of my few places of choice for yoga.
I ordered food and coffee, and went on my laptop - like everyone else around me.nnA woman with brown hair singled me out and told me I need to ‘get off the table for other customers’ just as I finished my food, yet the people around me had been there way before I had arrived.nnThere was a kind lady next to me, who offered to share her table with me so I wouldn’t have to pack up before I’d even settled.nnI left immediately because of how uncomfortable the woman made me feel.nnObnoxious & rude staff.nnThere are better places in Dulwich, with kinder more grounded people working and serving.nnWould not recommend.
David's Chair Yoga is wonderful. He is an exceptional teacher and stretches you within your capabilites. He is warm, engaging and playful. The group is mainly seniors as well as some younger participants. I always feel grounded and uplifted after his classes.
