I was thoroughly impressed by the service at Sainsbury's. I entered the store with the intention of grabbing a few items, feeling quite dizzy from rushing around. I was delighted to find a few chairs conveniently placed near the checkout area. The security guard went above and beyond to assist me in connecting me to the Sainsbury's 02 network so I could easily hail a cab.
Perfect place to shop anything and almost everything under one roof. Just opposite to Nine elms tube station. At a walkable distance from American embassy. Can be much more informative at the entrance if there are legends provided for different sections.
Carlos was a lifesaver! I needed a deep heat heat pack for muscle pain. None on the shelves but Carlos who was working in another aisle stopped his work and graciously went out the back to find some new packs. So grateful. Good asset for Sainsbury’s!
Extremely spacious and has long aisle of foods, drinks etc to tickle your fancy. The store is that large that it does take a while to manoeuvre around and find the items that you want. The customer service kiosk for cigarettes is not clearly marked but you'll hopefully find a member of staff to point you in the right direction. Large capacity car park available, Argos in store. Wheelchair accessible, lifts available and easy to find/locate using Google maps or passing by in the area by a bus or in a car. Located 5 minutes from Nine Elms Tube Station.
The manager of this store needs a serious performance review. On arriving, both travelators were switched off, only one lift working with a huge queue of people. The store has very limited self check outs for trolleys, in fact, only two were working and they only had one person on a checkout with 20,000 other staff stacking shelves. Absolute enormous lines to pay for goods. When I worked in a supermarket staff would have been pulled off the floor to serve customers. Lewd graffiti in the toilets and the underground car park smells so bad of urine noticed this on the two occasions I visited this store. Will use alternative supermarkets going forward
