Every time I gaze through the automatic doors and catch sight of the bakery, I am irresistibly drawn inside. I proceed to select a few items. I chose some blueberry muffins from the shelves, and they were delightful.
I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding service I received from Michele during my last visit. I had some difficulties at the self checkout, but Michele was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to assist me. Great job.
I came to Lidl on 07/11, and was at the checkout scanning my stuff, i scanned my soft toothbrushes 69p and when i placed them with the other things i scanned, it said on the screen to wait for assistance which i did. Assistant named “Algis” came to the checkout till and told me in a very accusatory way that i had not scanned the toothbrushes. I pointed at that screen and told him i had scanned them. He looked at the screen, didn’t acknowledge his mistake, no apology and walked away. Honestly i am fuming and so upset about what happened, this is not okay, i shouldn t be treated like a criminal when i have done nothing wrong. Also, i witnessed Algis interacting with other people in the queue waiting for a till, he was shouting and being very rude and using a mocking tone towards customers. I really hope Lidl takes action against this employee, if you care about customers shopping experience then this sort of thing should not be happening.nnOn the other hand i do have to say, there was another employee today working alongside Algis, didn t see his name, but he was so helpful and kind towards other customers around me.nnAfter my experience with Lidl Putney today i will not be going back there again, but will instead continue shopping at Waitrose, which is more expensive, but you get quality customer service which ultimately makes the difference.
I love our local Lidl but our favourite red wine Merlot Cimarosa Australian has not been in stock for about 5 weeks, is it no longer available? I would really like to know !!
Bit tight getting round, it is a small one, and some items are not here! But otherwise, glad there's a Lidls here!
