I was going to have a cup of Japanese tea but I found something even more attractive to me - the embroidery service! I am fan of Uniqlo and I was lucky I brought my recently bought cotton beanie in my bag when I first visited their Covent Garden branch last Sat. Store staff Jun was super friendly. Thanks him for putting a lovely cat embroidery on my beanie fees applied!
I have had great time shopping at Uniqlo for years in different countries. Staffs at this store are generally very friendly, especially staffs at the top floor cafe. They will go out of their way to make sure u have a pleasant experience. Staffs at clothing stations are very great and helpful as well. Just unfortunately that this one girl at the fitting room treating you like a burden. I understand everyone has their day, but seeing staffs irritated and annoyed and giving you and others attitude out of nowhere is kinda a thumb down.
Success on finding cargo trousers! I was spending Saturday trying to buy clothes with more pockets. I lovvvvvvvveeee pockets, and can't get enough of clothes that have them.nnI ended up getting men's heattech ones. I wish they had regular cargo trousers with big pockets like this pair, for all year wear.nnI always find uniglo stores confusing and don't really enjoy shopping there. Their clothes can be pretty awesome though, so I will brave it if online shopping isn't going to work for what I need. I wish it was a little cheaper, but I just buy a few pieces every blue moon.nnThe store was crazy crowded. I waited around 10 minutes for a changing room. Also, it was another 5 minutes of queueing at the register. The checkout registers seem high tech.nnDidn't even notice the ceiling or anything else mentioned in other reviews. I just wanted to get out. It was late Saturday afternoon, so not the best time to shop, but it was the only time I could go. I'm sure it would be much more pleasant on a weekday.
London's latest UNIQLO store is a lovely space but perhaps not so practical. Many of the aisles are extremely narrow too small for two people to walk down. I went on a Friday evening but can only imagine the chaos on a peak Saturday. Staff are friendly and on the ball, shelves are well stocked and everything is neat and tidy. The centre of the store has a stunning glass ceiling which is worth checking out alone. A nice store to get your essentials.
Poor customer service lead to us getting stopped by security on leaving shop. Sent email to explain that situation was stressful and also chatted on live support with zero response. Uniqlo customer experience and service in this instance falling well below what is deemed as acceptable. Sort it out.
