Shoutout to DK for making our experience more than just a shopping trip Flew in from Asia and was excited to visit the flagship store. 8 years of shopping online, first time in store nnGreat space layout, good selection of available items. You got your smoothie bar as well, and I love that they have daily coach-led classes too nnWhat did put me off was the dressing room staff’s attitude. They looked like they really couldn’t be bothered and were more interested in chatting with each other.nnBut DK saved it by coming up to us and made sure we were well taken care of, offered to help with anything we needed, and was genuinely friendly overall. Thanks for the VIP treatment too nnIt definitely made our in-person shopping experience a whole lot better. Y’all need to invest in more staff like him, it does make a difference. Thanks again!
I like to think of myself as an eternal optimist, so even after reading a few questionable reviews about cleanliness and customer service, I thought, “How bad can it be?” — famous last words.nLet me start with the positives: the store looks incredible, and about 90% of the staff were genuinely friendly and professional. No complaints there.nBut… the devil really is in the details.nThe changing rooms? Let’s just say they’ve seen better days. I used two different ones yes, I gave them a second chance, and both had a nice little collection of dust and debris. Not quite the vibe you want when trying on fresh gym fits.nThen came the grand finale at the till. The gentleman serving me and my girlfriend avoided eye contact like it was part of his job description and proceeded to aggressively stuff not fold… stuff my clothes into the bag. Honestly, I’ve seen less rough handling in airport baggage claims.nSpending close to £200 just to watch your items get treated like laundry day at a student flat wasn’t exactly the experience I had in mind.nI get it—Gymshark is a young brand. But being young doesn’t mean skipping the basics. The store is a direct reflection of the brand, and right now, it feels like the small details are doing a lot of damage.nGreat potential, great space… just needs a bit more pride in the little things.
We were given such friendly and helpful service by a staff member named Octavian. He had a really nice chat with us at the checkout and showed genuine interest, which made our shopping experience even more enjoyable.nnThe store also looked super clean, neat, and well organized. I ended up buying two beautiful sweaters and a new shirt, and I’m very happy with my purchases.nnA big compliment to Octavian and the entire team! I’ll definitely be coming back.
Nice products and overall look of the shop but awful customer service and experience. Even tho there were multiple staff members on the floor, nobody seemed genuine to help me as I was buying a gift for my mom and had no idea how buy sport bras. I asked one member and she only said : “well yes, these are women bras” like okay ? Then at the till, that other girl couldn’t care less about how she was treating costumers and preferred to talk about how to book holidays with her colleague. I would expect more from a shop in central London. Hoping next time is better
Been in here a few times, and the cashiers have never been chatty. Except on Wednesday 2nd September. I had a nice young man who I believe was training as he was hovering around another associate who asked me how my day was going.nPut a smile on my face and I hope this lad goes far, keep up your friendly customer service!
