Room reasonable size. Shame the bathroom floor is like a swimming pool changing rooms floor 20 years ago. Walls are very thin and didn't appreciate hearing everything coming from next door. Car park big enough with a Toby carvery next door.
Rooms are good though can be a little chilly on waking up in the morning. Unfortunately it is on the road leading from the Hilsea ambulance station so any blue light jobs in the town centre or there abouts means you will be woke up anytime after 5-6 in the morning as the ambulance negotiations through the sets of traffic lights in front of the hotel.
Very convenient but a little tired. The bathroom would not have passed the hotel inspector test. But my dog and I enjoyed our stay!!Rooms: 5/5
Shocked at the receptionist, who was extremely unhelpful. Spoilt an othwise rather nice Travelodge. I will avoid visiting it again though!Rooms: 4/5
Basic but clean tidy. Reception friendly and helpful. Was just a stopover for early doors ferry following day. Food & drinks: Next door pub restaurant was a Toby Inn....by the time we got there it was near closing and carvery food looked "tired" . Place overall looked well worn, however staff were helpful and still managing a smile after an obviously long and busy day.
One night stay and the only fault was the weak output from the shower which could do with updating . Given a ground floor room as we had our dog with us. The lady on reception was very helpful and provided a fan in the room which was a blessing. Adjacent to a Toby Carvery which we used and the food was excellent.Rooms: 4/5

Staff are always lovely and polite they go out of there way I was really tired and dropped my key outside my room and they didn't disturb me but let me know with a note thank you Rooms: So clean and had a heater aswell
A bit different for a travelodge. Beams in the ceiling and an old building with some character. Plus there's a lidl over the road. Will definitely use again.Rooms: 4/5
A bit threadbare and basic, but beds were comfortable. Room was warm even without heating although there is a wall heater which we did not need to switch on. Would have been nice to have a bathroom floor mat and 1 more hand towel.
