This premier inn is located next to a beefeater restaurant. There is another premier inn just next door which appears newer, however, this one seems to be newly refurbished. We had a family room with a double bed and 2 singles (a sofa bed and 'camp bed'). All were comfortable enough and there was sufficient space in the room for all of us. The room got a bit too warm overnight and being right next to a road we couldn't have the window open. We had breakfast at the beefeater where the kids ate free. The staff in the Premier Inn were all very friendly and helpful Over all, it was fine for all of us for one night, not sure we would want to stay for much longer as a family. For a couple or single traveller it would be fine for longer stays.

Room clean and spacious, bed very comfortable. Breakfast at neighbouring partner Beefeater was delicious, an excellent all you can eat meal. What was confusing was the presence of another Premier Inn right next door which was far more noticeable from the road!

We stayed here while visiting Southsea and it was a really great value stay compared to other large chains further south and actually on the island. The reception staff were helpful and friendly regardless of which shift they were working. Food is served perhaps 30 meters away and the breakfast quality was excellent. Free parking on site. There is the potential to confuse this slightly older version of the brand with a more modern and larger building across the street and run by the same chain. We made this mistake and pulled in to the wrong car park, however the staff there were also great. This site is fully wheelchair accessible from the carpark.

Excellent service from reception. Only 2 coffee sachets in room but reception immediately gave us more. Breakfast was amazing served in the adjacent beefeater, bit disappointed that we arrived at bar 11.03 and we couldn't get served. Having said that staff were very friendly, especially Kelly.

An ideally located Premier Inn, a good choice for anybody who needs ease of access to the south coast area around Portsmouth or the port. Friendly staff, always helpful and a big Tesco Extra just around the corner.
