This was decided last minute that we’d fly to London and see Phantom of the opera so the seats we got were very limited. The seats available were top floor in the balcony Balcony C31 C32 to be exact. And I have to say, we could see the stage grand of course the play does fluctuate when phantom is hidden ‘under’ so you may miss something minor, but everyone around in this seating section was extremely respectful nobody leaned over or was obstructing the view where you could not see the stage it was actually okay. The staff are incredible, strictly no distractions, no phones, no lights nothing and if you attempt to take your phone out they’re over within seconds I thought this was fantastic as a light can be really distracting and can ruin the experience. 20 minutes interval the first part of the show is longer. The show was also fantastic. You can bring drinks inside but no food. And if you do have food — make sure it’s well hidden the seat was comfortable enough but I can imagine someone really tall with long legs might find it a bit tight. My partner is 5’8 and she was fine but again I guess depending on angle you can insert £1 in front of your seat for little binoculars to see the stage optional. Overall my experience was excellent here
Wow!!what a beautiful theater!! This was the original theater where Phantom of the Opera was first performed with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman… the interior and seating is so stunning.. watching it in the middle royal circle, we were able to see the falling of the Chandelier perfectly and we have watched this show 7 times around the world! Wow!..
My wife and I had a wonderful time watching the Phantom of the Opera. The venues seating is tight, however you feel close to the action! We felt the heat of the flames. The actress's & actors were great and the singing was amazing!
Took my Mother here for her first West End Show. We had a brilliant night and were looked after by a lovely young Irish lady apologies for forgetting your name. If you can, save up and get yourself a box as the experience was worth every penny. It made the night so special and getting to see the cast so close was great. Staff here are so lovely and helpful... perfect... thank you...
The theatre is small but full of character. Definitely research seat views cause regress of empty seats you canny change where you sit. We saw a lady being told to go to her assigned seat. The acoustics were amazing. We saw Phantom of the opera, the singing and speaking were all very clear. Where we sat very back of the mid section, there were a few times we had to crouch to see things going on at the top of the stage.nThe seats look comfortable enough but being sat in it, my body told me otherwise. They are cramped with people next to you. They do have binoculars to rent for £1. We didn't use them so I can't comment on the quality.nStaff was lovely and kind, drinks very expensive and lobby is small, so if you want any souvenirs, plan to stand around and for people to try and cut in front as there's really no orderly queues.
