A beautiful theatre! Went there as a treat for my 30th from my boyfriend to watch the Lion King. We had a box booth, B to ourselves which the view was amazing, the seats there were comfortable with a table to put our drinks on. The staff were very kind upon entrance and in the gift shop. The Lion King itself was amazing. Everything that has gone into that show is absolutely mind blowing. We had one of the actors come into the booth to sing which was utterly delightful. They could all sing so beautifully, especially the actor for Rafiki, she could absolutely belt her voice! I honestly loved every moment! No photography or recording is allowed of the performance itself and I wanted to respect that, but I did manage to get permitted shots of other bits there. If you're on the fence about going, definitely do!
My husband took me to see The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre - oh my god, it was absolutely unreal! They asked us not to record, so I didn’t, but honestly, that show was incredible. The theatre itself is stunning- it actually reminded me of the places you see in movies. The history and culture are beautifully reflected in every detail. I highly recommend it to everyone- it’s truly one of the best performances I’ve ever seen!
This was my first time seeing The Lion King, which has been a dream of mine since I was a child I was born in '97. The Lion King is my favourite Disney movie, so once I was old enough to realise that a musical of it existed on Broadway and West End, I took mental note of it as part of my 'bucket list'. I honestly can't say enough how incredible it was, I was completely moved. I laughed, I cried, I applauded a lot. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I can't recommend this experience enough, it is totally worth the money. It'a an amazing performance all around, acting, singing, the production - the effort is incredible. It's worth sitting in the stalls, you feel more involved in the performance!
Absolutely incredible show! Highly recommend. We sat in the first balcony and it was excellent view! They hire out binoculars for a fee of £1 but didn't need it from our seats. The theatre decor is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The show is one of the best I have seen! My only issue would be they encourage everyone to turn up earlier to the show but don't open the doors for everyone to get their seats so everyone is crammed into the small bar area waiting to be let in rather than it be a staggered entrance and less crowding.
We went to see The Lion King musical, and it was my first time experiencing it. The show was incredibly impressive and beautiful – I even cried a lot! The touches of humor here and there were also really enjoyable.nnIt truly was a top-class musical, and I would recommend it to everyone.
