It’s wonderful seeing the Lion King for the first time in theatre! Great feats achieved by performing artists accompanied by the symphony orchestra and mind blowing art direction. In Lyceum, the Ambassador Lounge experience is noteworthy, as they serve during the break nice Prosecco with a choice of ice cream and snacks. The toilets could have been bigger through, given the short break and the large number of people using a single unit. Overall a very pleasant experience!
A beautiful and well preserved building, with updates in the right area, such as the toilets etc. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful with great crowd management speed.nnThe show I went to watch, The Lion King, lasted around 2 and a half hours. With a 15 minute interval halfway through. Its extremely well done with good comical moments and lots of creative and technological adaptions to help bring the show to life. The stage itself is something awesome, moving to help create lots of elevation points and mountains. The show was extremely entertaining. Each cast member gave everything to each performance and most took the time to meet and greet after the show if you're quick!nnI definitely recommend the show and theatre. You will not be disappointed! There are plenty of price ranged seats available too.nnI also recommend using the new book your drink at your seat service, which can be done for the start of the show or at the interval. Great addition!nnThanks to the team behind the theatre for maintaining it and constantly finding ways to improve the services they offer.
An absolutely amazing theatre and show nn**NO Spoilers**nnThe theatre is fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful.nnThe bar was ok, and the pre-order for the interval worked really well.nnOur view from the Royal Circle £60 per head, was really good.nnThe show was fantastic the actresses and actors, the music, the singing, the choreography, the band/orchestra, the lighting, sound, the drummer, the costumes and the props were amazing . We all loved the show ages ranging from 8,13,41,42 & 62nnThanks for hosting us, and keep up the great work. I'd like to watch the show again!
Wonderful theatre, easy to access and toilets were clean. Looks amazing inside and out with the stage being large. We have been here twice now to watch the Lion King.nnViews are great and side views are good too with little viewing restrictions, but on both occasions on our visit we sat in the center. The seats near or on zone K are the perfect distance to easily see the entire stage. Getting an end aisle seat is pretty much perfect since you also get the benefit of a close up of the cast walking next to you.nnI wish it was a little louder just to make certain scenes even more spectacular.
Captivated from start to finish with the Lion King. Great spectacle in the historic venue. The actors took the stage, seamlessly transforming into the beloved characters from the Pride Lands. The music filled the theatre with emotions in the first seconds, complemented by the soul-stirring rhythms of African beats. Each movement was choreographed with precision and the set design was very creative.
