We last visited about a year ago and found the bar much changed since then. In entering there was a strong smell of fried food - not what you want in a cocktail bar. The service was poor. The lady in charge didn’t seem to care, was quite brusque and seemed to charge around the place indiscriminately, without achieving much. The choice of cocktails was much diminished with a small menu card being offered. When I asked for a full drinks menu the waitress told me I’d regret it as the menu was like a Jenga puzzle. She was right, it was. My friend wanted a single malt and was assured that despite the lack of a drinks menu, they had an amazing selection. They didn’t. He ordered a Macallan, which was fine but didn’t live up up to the positive review we’d given him of this bar. My wife and I each had a Manhattan cocktail, which was a little watery, not great. The bill for three of us was £65 for three not great drinks. If the service and offering had been better I’d have been happy with that. But it wasn’t, and I’m not. We won’t go back.
We came for afternoon tea - the food and tea were excellent, the aesthetics and ambiance were also excellent. The service was disappointing. We also had wanted to share and didn’t realize in the reservation that each person must order their own afternoon tea. Make sure to read the fine print!Service: 3/5
We loved this beautifully presented townhouse! And in the absolutely perfect area! Right by Selfridges and the right end of Oxford street but quiet and beautiful for a lovely walk. Very helpful staff and perfect rooms! Food is limited but delicious! A beautiful place that we’ll be staying at again!Rooms: 5/5
We came here for their Afternoon Tea and had a wonderful experience ! Staff were very kind, the food was lovely, especially the finger sandwiches and desserts A cozy room with gorgeous decor I recommend the windowside table in the corner. The room might get a little noisy during peak teatime, but we booked for around 1pm and it was quite pleasant indeed. Thanks and we look forward to a future visit ! Food & drinks: Afternoon tea is splendid !
I ordered from their food menu at the parlour i had the Maple glazed Chicken and the Potato croquets with their Plum Sauce 10/10 it was lovely I enjoyed! Severed so carefully by PAM AND RICHARD The real OGS THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS From Jyda
Came here for an Afternoon tea, and I must say it was definitely worth it! Comparing to many similar places this one turned out cheaper, but with better quality food. It is also very atmospheric and well decorated. The dish-wear deserves a separate compliment Food & drinks: Great Afternoon tea
This hotel is cute and so unexpected. I found it while browsing for unique hotels in London but did not quite ready for what it was. The location was just wonderful and walk to just about anywhere to shop or to get to public transportation. A short a few mins walk to Selfridges. However, the building it might be difficult to find as my taxi went past it 3 times over. So look for a small the flower arch framing the entrance. They have very few rooms and the room I was assigned to was a little too cozy so I had myself an upgrade and that was great. The service was sweet, friendly, accommodating, and hands down the best service I had during many of my stays in London. This is like personalized customer service where everyone tried their best to make the guests feel comfortable. The room I settled in was perfect for work and play. It has a big working desk with all the minibar amenities. The bathtub was in the bedroom so I have got some view. The bathroom was spacious and so was the room. All their rooms are unique and classically decorated. The public area was something sort of out of a movie set. I was so sad that I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the bar and restaurant but I’d love to come back. Highly recommended.
Went for afternoon tea with my family. The place is very cozy and chill. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious especially the finger sandwiches!!. You will definitely not leave the Zetter hungry, but they offer you take-away boxes if you don't manage to eat everything! :-Service: 4/5
Adore coming here. Rooms are plush, stylish and well equipped, service is attentive and thoughtful and the location could not be better. Not cheap but well worth it for a stylish city night away.Rooms: 5/5
