I really enjoyed staying here while visiting London for a week. Yes, it's not flash. If you want flash stay somewhere that isn't a 2 star hotel. It is clean however with daily room service and the location is in a beautiful and safe area in Central London. You can literally walk everywhere or have ample access to buses and tubes. The staff are also really friendly, kind and helpful. Take it for what it is and enjoy the surrounding area!
This is in such an amazing location, minutes walk to Hyde park where you can walk to paddington, Italian gardens or the palace if you're so inclined. Then half an hour walk to Soho and super close to the underground. Rooms are good and staff are absolutely excellent! Absolute bargain for what you pay too for basically central London! See you next time!
Very helpful and Friendly staff, great location, I was able to park on the street as I had a blue badge. The room as ok, small and pokey, the bed was built into the wall. so 3 sides were touching the walls and one side was a huge window, not good. The walls were paper thin and I couldn’t sleep with the noise from other residence, they weren’t being noisy it just sounded like one guy was snorting in my room and another couple were in my room talking. so I checked out at 4am So overall not a good stay. But not realistically the fault of the staff.
Do not stay here. Photos online are all false advertising. Looks lovely online, but the photos are misleading and not accurate. They only show photos of the nicest rooms online and then when you arrive what you get is nothing like the photos. The room was tiny, mouldy, dusty and absolutely stunk. We spoke to the staff and they upgraded us but this room stunk too and the furniture was damaged. It just looked disgraceful. It wasn't hygienic there and should seriously be sorted out, or closed down. We booked somewhere else to stay in as it was unbearable there. The marble arch inn refused to refund us, unless they resold the room. The first night, they didn't sell the room, but I saw online that they had sold the room for the second night. They still refused to refund us. Therefore, the staff were greedy and lied to us. Horrible people and I still believe I am entitled to a refund at least for the second night, as that was what they promised. You'll notice on many of the negative reviews they retaliate to the unhappy customer. This is exactly how they are. Terrible customer service, terrible property and terrible experience.
Rooms were small and a little dirty. Service was good, always greeted with a smile but we were only In the hotel for a bed to sleep in wouldn't recomed it for much else. Location is verry ideal for all the must see places in London. Rooms: Rooms were small and basic. A private toilet is optional extra but showers were private. Nearby activities: There is so much to do around the area of the hotel from Hyde Park, baker Street tube and bond Street tube are 20 minute walk and can get you nearly anywhere in London. Safety: There's a buzzer at the door and they check to see if you're a guest before letting you in. Walkability: Youre a shirt walk from many transport services and tourist attractions and shops
Room dirty, I have been attacked by insects and many of my body suffer from severe itchy. I have found two of these insects and I show them to the reception. I couldn’t sleep this one night at this hotel!Rooms: 1/5
Great location at a great price. Rooms were basic but I was pleasantly surprised. Would stay here again for a quick solo stopover. Walkability: Close to Marble arch and Hyde park. So much you can walk to nearby.
I had a really great stay at Marble Arch Inn. I had to extend my stay by two extra nights and the staff were able to accomodate and allow me to stay in the same room. The accomodation is in a great location; easy walking distance to the metro, Hyde park, cafes and restaurants and Oxford St. As a woman travelling solo I felt very safe walking around the area at night which is important. The room is fairly small but has everything you need and staff clean the room and provide fresh towels every day which was appreciated. They also provide luggage storage and 24/7 reception which was very useful. Staff were friendly and always greeted you with warmth which created an inviting environment.
Amazing place to stay in, it deserves ten stars. We stayed 6 days. Amazing location, Friendly staff, clean rooms. They clean every day. If we come again, surely we will choose this place.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed while at an event in Hyde Park. Location is great, very close to Hyde Park and lots of restaurants, cafes etc and Oxford Street and Tube station. Very friendly staff. Let us in our room early, so we could leave our luggage. Room was clean and modern. Bed very comfortable. Shower with towels and a washbasin. It was small and very warm but there was a very large fan installed on the wall which helped. Wish I had got a room with a toilet as the shared bathroom wasn't ideal for me and my daughter in hindsight, even though there are 2 toilets and there was always a free toilet and they were clean. Would recommend getting a larger room with toilet if you can afford it but the price we paid was very cheap for central London and would definitely recommend the hotel.
