I’ve stayed here for one night. I had a really difficult situation and needed a hotel at 1am, Berkeley Court Hotel was the closest one. When I came there was a reception guy who didn’t understand my booking confirmation and it took really long time to check in. When I’ve asked about option with a late check out, he said that I can’t do that cause it will cost 20 pounds like I can afford it, man. However, the room was clean and nice. The shower has cold/warm/hot water, maybe commentators here just didn’t know how to turn it in a right way The night and surprisingly morning were really quiet. When I was clocking out, there was a really nice woman, Kyishma. She was kind and helpful I wish I could check in when she was there. The location is great, the bus stops and Hyde Park are near the hotel. I would recommend this place and definitely will come back for this price. Nearby activities: Pubs, cafe’s, there is actually in 3 minutes one of the main roads Walkability: Bus stops 4 min away, Hyde Park ~10 min
The rooms are very basic but they were clean.for the price i paid,i think it's quite ok. The staff is very polite, and helpfull. And what i really like is the location of this place.literally walking distance from everything.Rooms: 4/5
Me and my sister stayed 2 nights. And we won't be returning. First of all, the staff seemed friendly, but the rooms were very unclean. The shower way too hot, bath tub leaking and very dirty, we turned on the TV just to find it smashed up, the bedding stained, toilet seat unclean I gave it a wipe myself and dirt lifted off, the room and bathroom could do with a deep clean, very dusty which affected my lungs I have asthma Too overpriced for what it is Waited 15 min at reception to hand my keys, no one showed up, called the number they have on Google, it said not valid, found a different number and someone picked up saying to just leave the keys there ? However, it is in a good location
The reception guy was very welcoming,no lift, they gave us the 4th floor room so we had to pick our luggage all the way up to the room, was way too exhausting. We couldn't keep the luggage in the hotel either. Rooms: The room was okay, Nearby activities: Next to oxford street.
Nice place.good prices.very well located.walking distance from marble arch,oxford street.will come againRooms: 4/5
Cheap & cheerful, what do you want to expect for this price in London city centre? Beds were clean. Room was basic. Bathroom could do with a right good clean & a lot of bleach in toilet and the shower cubicle. But, at this price- you can’t complain. If you don’t like it, upgrade to a Holiday Inn or Travel Lodge etc.
Probably the worst experience I've had in a hotel. The couple that seem to run it and friendly but quite incompetent or do not care enough to maintain it. Non smoking room stank of smoke. Taps would fill the sink and even a cigarette butt came back up out of the sink. Gross. It drained very slowly so couldn't use the taps for more than 30 seconds. Similar for the shower. 5 minute shower was the max you could do or water would overflow into the "rest" of the bathroom it being so tiny Very grimy and unclean. I asked for a hand towel for the bathroom. To which she said they don't offer them. They apparently offered bath sheets which she called big towels. But that might have been the tiny regular ones I had already of which she didn't supply after asking. One toilet roll for my entire duration. Nothing ever replaced. Even when I asked for a body wash of which they original offer one tiny sachet.. Still nothing. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Basic metal frame. Too big for the mattress. The hall way was dirty. Carpet all torn up. All for way too high of a price. The only redeemable feature was its location. Which is a shame because if they hired an extra staff member and redecorated the entire place if could be a good little hotel.
- It's been quiet during my 1-night stay. Calm area, calm streets, fresh air. Plenty near-by, including parks & cool 5-star hotels. - Staff seem polite & open to assist. - There is the price vs. the rooms, but it's Central London & I booked on the arrival day. - Shower is best in the morning. - NO bedbugs, just to confirm, despite the bedbug wave in Paris & possibly in this type of old buildings.
The hotel was terrible overpriced, extremely rundown. Staff were pleasant. Would not recommend staying would rather stay in a hostelRooms: 1/5
Perfect location. Our shower had only hot extremely hot water. They could not solve the problem, as it was Sunday night. We payed for separate bathroom but had to use the shared one. We wanted to ask for compensation but they suggested us to write about it to Booking. We will.Rooms: 3/5
