Where to start. The room was so small it’s no good enough for 2 people. The carpet was dirty, the room smelt like a really bad Charity Shop, the bed was like sleeping on the floor although it was clean. There was no storage but it did have 1 coat hanger. The telly didn’t work properly. The bathroom/toilet was no more than a very small cupboard. Luckily we are not of the larger persuasion but anyone who is would have had trouble getting in and out. The shower worked surprisingly well. The one window in the room gave us a fantastic view of a wall which was only about 3 feet away. The wiring for the television went out through this window and went straight down to a drain which was worrying. Luckily we had only booked the room for 2 nights and we probably should have left after booking In but we decided to give it ago against our better judgement. Apart from that, we had a great time in Brighton. Next time we will book into Premier Inn.
Looks a bit dodgy from the outside but perfect little place to stay for a late night out. Booked room at extremely late notice 5mins before close and they fitted us in, room was clean and well-decorated. Exactly what we wanted it for, and had no problems with noise or late entry. Definitely would stay here again
Room decor was so outdated and old fashioned, Broken and dirty furniture, Blocked shower that wouldn’t drain, tv didn’t work in several of the rooms, iron that was supplied had half its plug missing which is is quite a serious health and safety risk of being electrocuted and also beds were very uncomfortable. Also reception was always locked up with NO staff on site and there was a note on main door with 3 different mobile numbers to call if you needed anyone. It was my stag party and there were 15 of us staying at the hotel and unfortunately not 1 of us had a good nights sleep and also every room we had had something wrong with it as in blocked sinks and broken furniture. So personally I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel ever. Personally I would rather camp on the beach rather than waste money staying at this dump again!!! Rooms: Outdated, dirty and broken furniture and beds very uncomfortable Safety: Iron given to me to use had half its plug missing and was a serious health and safety concern due to electrocution Noteworthy details: This hotel was a complete dump and I wouldn’t recommend ever staying here
Stayed here for a conference - bed was clean. However, everything else could have used a thorough going over. For the price and as a place to crash, it was fine. However, don't expect anything special.
Literally just left, staying there last night with my other half. Does exactly what it says on the tin. But... Bed frame was damaged and noisy, also the carpet and walls were marked with anything and everything. The bathroom door was falling off and wouldn't clost properly. The shower has mould and the shower curtains looked like it needed to be changed about 6 months ago. The shower itself was useless. Dribbling out and falling off the wall, so was trying to be careful no touching it. The bin was not changed from the previous visit... Filled with rubbish and dirty knickers. Rank. What can I say. The bed was comfy. I think thats it. You make your choice. Good Luck on what you get!
It is the worst in the area, and there is a young man with long hair who seems to have come out of a cave, curious to see what is in my room, : The rooms are small and narrow, and the toilets are not enough for a human being. A very bad experience
Rooms are not like on the pictures on the website. In real was worse. Our double room should be designed for one. I felt like in closet. I'm very disappointed. Not to clean. Not recommend. Rooms: Too small. Not too clean.
This little gem is currently undergoing some refurbishment which is reflected in the pricebut with this in mind our room was great with a fantastic view of the pier. Once the work is finished this hotel could command a higher price. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, the panelling gave it an expensive feel far from your usual chain hotel. The manager was very friendly and approachable, also he was very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely stay again and would really like to see it finished.
I cannot express how disgusting this hotel is!! I don't even know where to start. Welcomed in our room by a massive stain on the carpet which looked like someone had thrown up on the floor. Metal bed was broken, mattress was HEAVILY stained with big brown patches. Not pressure in the shower, shower curtain was not fixed to the wall and fell on my head. Window sill was covered in about 6 months worth of dust. Left as soon as we could to avoid vomiting.
Love this picturesque little hotel. Not at all what you expect but ultimately far better. It oozes character, has helpful and kind staff and the rooms are compact but beautiful.Rooms: 5/5
