Have just spent the night in this delightful hotel in Brighton. The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly and the off street parking is a welcome delight if visiting Brighton. The hotel is located just up from the pier, so views are great and is within walking distance of all the entertainment venues in Brighton, without being disturbed by the hustle and bustle. Excellent breakfast that was served freshly cooked and hot! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brighton
We recently spent a few days at this wonderful place, and we absolutely love it. It's clean and well kept and the location is just perfect, everything we need was within walking distance. Breakfast was a delight, and Vicky was just lovely.
We had a lovely stay here. Very friendly and welcoming. Beautifully decorated throughout. Breakfast was amazing. The waffles Would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Brighton in the future. Rooms: The room was perfect. Nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Nearby activities: Beach. Brighton pier. Sealife centre. All in walking distance. A short walk from the Lanes and about a 10 minute walk from the shopping centre. Walkability: Located on the sea front. Close to a lot of things. Food & drinks: Lots of places to eat nearby. We ate from a chipshop called Little Jack Fullers and the Frickles were so good! We also had coffee and cake at Vero Gusto. Highly recommend both.
This is our second stay here and it hasn't disappointed. A warm welcome, stylish clean room and parking, we choose this hotel for various positive reasons, but what really nails it for us is it being right above the finish line of the Half Marathon we've just done. We could literally see our bedroom as we crossed the line - bliss! The room we were allocated had a lovely view over The Pier too. We will definitely be back again.
Our second stay , we returned after a stay two years ago . Great staff , superb breakfast, excellent location with parking . Great rooms wonderful views . Stay make more enjoyable by the other guests this place attracts. People moaning about noise in other reviews should have paid more attention to its location ..its in a prime spot...so its going to be busy outside and it's an old building so it's not going to have tripple glazed sound proof windows. Enjoyed our stay and will no doubt return . Thank you
My friend and I spent 2 nights in Brighton and we couldn't have hoped for a better stay than A room with a view. Our room was so comfy and cosy. Loved the decoration of the hotel which create a very elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was so friendly which added to the great experience and we were lucky to have a very sunny weather and enjoyed very much a wonderful breakfast looking at the sea. I would definitely recommend to stay at A room with a view and planning on repeating the experience for my yearly visit in Brighton! Thank you for the stay! Food & drinks: Situated in a very nice area with very nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
If you are a light sleeper, this isn't the place for you. Non-stop traffic noise and thumping music from nearby kept us awake and by 2am, we left the hotel and headed home. The room was okay. Blinds didn't keep out much light and there were also signs of mold above the shower. The good... a nice view of the seafront, free parking and well located to reach the city centre by foot. Unfortunately the low rating is simply due to not being able to stay for the whole night.
Had an excellent 7 day stay here in the low season. Breakfasts really good with very friendly and attentive service. Beautiful sea views from spacious ultra clean room. Would definitely recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Review based on their "no children policy". They advised they cannot accept us as we have a 13 years old. They are advising they are not geared up for children at their hotel. They are a small hotel and do not have any facilities for younger guests! All we needed is a room and bed. We didn't need any facility whatsoever for any entertainment...
Emmanuel and Sam were great; they provided an excellent service. & a beautiful room! Really enjoyed my stay in Brighton.Rooms: 5/5
