Visited on Christmas Eve for dinner and it was terrible. The service was not welcoming and seemed overworked. The chocolate brownie definitely wasn’t a chocolate brownie and when the bill arrived it had several items we didn’t order. I expected much better quality for the price.
Very welcoming young man behind the bar. great lunch Steak sandwhich. Beautifully cooked steak followed by apple crumble. and a lovely large cappuccino. Will go again . Garden looks like it will be nice in summer .
Amazing food and excellent service. Meal well cooked and presented. Would definitely recommend. We are not local but would definitely visit again if in the area
Opportunity presented for a quick lunch out last week. We decided to try The Three Horseshoes, partly to have a snoop as we'd driven past so often during its refurbishment! We were struck by the Tardis-like inside that belies kerbside judgement. The front bar was very cosy and welcoming - I could happily have whiled away an afternoon there! We were taken to the restaurant area at the back, and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and bright it was, with glass doors into the garden and a glass panelled roof. The service was polite and efficient; the menu offered good variety including some welcome, smaller, lunch options. Our order arrived very swiftly, and was very enjoyable. Sadly we didn't have time for dessert so I can't comment on this - hopefully next time, and hopefully soon!
Just enjoyed a lovely lunch at the shoes, service was impeccable and food delicious - Colin was even kind enough to cater to my pregnancy craving so huge thanks to him and the chef! Highly recommended.
Lovely mothers day lunch. Although they were very busy the service was good.
Lush pub, came off the cuff. Great atmosphere, lovely and warm. Its like a tardis, restaurant and garden are great, lots of seating. Had the best thick cut Wiltshire ham and the best hand cut tripple cooked chips ever. Highly recommend this gem of a pub.
Good welcome, quick service, large portions, reasonable price. Child friendly.
We were so happy to find this pub on a whim...it was our last night on an extremely special family reunion holiday and the delicious food and cheerful staff were great
The service was absolutely delightful. Attentative and friendly. I had high expectations for our dinner. Sadly the food did not live up to my expectations.
