Just taking a walk around the Sandford area of thanks right in front of the Voco Oxford Thames

Has a pool table and is a quick walk from Temple Cowley.  Beer selection is average.  Prices aren't too bad.  The place looked liked it needed some work as it looks quite dated.

Went to watch the football BT sport, which we were able to do. Helpful staff. Also one of the few pubs with Coors beer on draught. Decor dated but it didn't matter to us. Car park convenient.

But of a strange place, entrance is round the back, seems like a very 'local' pub but when I finally got served not many people in, but the barmaid was busy in a storeroom the beer was OK. I'm in the area for a couple of days so will probably make this my local whilst I'm here. :-

Irish run pub. Bit run down and rough but friendly. No cask ale - just a whole array of keg offerings. Large screen TV. Mostly a pub for the lads.  Large smoking shelter and a decent car park.

Good location and easy access to city center
