Fantastic speedy service! When you arrive you can scan the QR code at the table to load their new ordering website for food and drink, you can also pay via Apple pay, Google pay or card. For those less tech savvy, the staff are more than happy to help while remaining COVID safe. We have so far only had evening drinks and their garlic and chilli chips which are so good we went back a few days later to have again, but can't wait to go back for a proper meal.
Friendly landlady, decent filter coffee and tasty food. The seats were comfy too. Highly recommended.
Passed this lovely pub on Saturday and popped in..so glad we did. They had a fabulous singer in, great songs, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. We didn't eat but the food looked lovely. Will definitely go again.
This restaurant went above and beyond to adapt their menu for me being a coeliac and having egg and nut allergies, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Sometimes restaurants can make you feel quite embarrassed by having such autoimmune diseases, this restaurant did nothing of the sort. So a five star is certainly deserved here, and the food was of excellent quality.
Really wonderful pub with great food and a friendly atmosphere. Michel also catered for a private party we had recently and the food was beautifully presented and delicious! I'm so glad we have some left! Couldn't recommend more - 5 stars
Really lovely little pub. Very quintessential, friendly bar staff, nice atmosphere and the food was top notch. Definitely recommend!
Went in for a Sunday roast to a fantastic atmosphere under new management. Well done to Charlie and Neil for making our first visit one to remember. Can’t wait to return.
Had a lovely meal today pre booked for a social distanced family get together due to the passing of our mum earlier this year. Staff were very accommodating and friendly would definitely recommend a visit. Good luck to you at the crown for the future wish you well in these testing times
Excellent meal for group of us, pre-ordered, on a restricted menu and delivered with friendly helpful service.
Recently refitted, looks really good, great selection on tap and back of the bar. Staff really welcoming too. Food yet to try, but heard the crepes are delicious from family members.
