One of the best pubs for miles around. A nice quiet hidden gem. Proper trappist & Belgian beers, real ales, an unbeatable cosy home from home. Landlord Chris is a great bloke. Cheers!
Fantastic pub and a great selection of beers and spirits. Independent and very friendly owners. Chris is well known in Oxford and rightly so. Great locals pub. Worth going to at least once or twice if you are in the area.
Good beer and staff in a 'proper' pub
Proper old school boozer on the outskirts of Oxford. Good luck finding it, it's a local pub for locals only. Straight out of the 80s never updated - and why would it be, its a throwback that reminds a little of a student union bar - but much cleaner of course. A fair selection of ales tiny tasters requests are not met with much enthusiasm but reluctantly minimally granted, but a quite poor selection of lagers. Has a sports screen in both parts so can catch the football, if it's on the right channels - they have SKY SPORTS for sure.
What a pub! The true working man's definition of a watering hole: great beers, great atmosphere, great venue out back

Excellent old fashioned pub, really good ales on tap. Friendly landlord and service with a smile. A locals pub that is really friendly to all that enter. The outside space is roomy and well kept. If you like good ales, definitely worth a visit or two
