I went to Ulverston on a beer tasting exercise on the 4this of November 2020 Covid was in place but as a real ale pub this pubs real ale offerings and atmosphere plus the bar staff made this pub easily in the top 2 pubs in Ulverstone I visited today 10 out of 10 a credit to real ale pubs

Gary and Michelle are brilliant so relaxed and accommodating Really friendly atmosphere.

The best beer range in ulverston..top boozer.

a relaxing atmosphere the land lady and lanlord were very welcoming and a well kept pub and the beer was spot on  will be visiting again when we visit ulverston

Usually a good selection of ales available, nice beer garden out the back,  landlord good knowledge of the beers on offer.

Good Beer and friendly staff.

Best real ales pub in South cumbria!! Can keep a ale a dead art of a landlord
