Wonderful atmosphere with lovely, polite, welcoming staff. Massive shoutout to the waiter Dan who went above and beyond making our dining experience great! Everything came out in perfect time and meals were delicious! Will definitely be coming back again!

Was recommended this place when we were wondering around Silverstone looking for a place to eat after visiting the Safari Zoo. Was told the food was excellent, but we had to be quick of we wanted main dishes. Got there and managed to order from the mains before they stopped. Food was excellent to say the least. We should have asked how big the pizza was as it was humungous!!! Service was very good as well. We felt lucky to get recommendations to this place. And I would definitely recommend to anyone who visits Ulverston.

Really enjoyed meals on 2 occasions recently and just drinks at other times. Good service and lovely food. Only drawer back is not being able to book online on the day, at least I wasn't able to, both times I had to ring. Will definitely be going back

Loved it. Good food, service with a smile, great beer selection. Lovely modern surroundings. Managed to get us a table at short notice, even on valentine day.

Lovely food and reasonable bar with extensive inside dining rooms although we ate outside as we had a dog with us. This is not dog friendly pub beyond the patio area which is very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful without complaint. The meal was lovely with everyone in the party very content. The bar had a good selection of beers on draught too. The ladies was very nice and well maintained.

Came in on a Monday night for a meal for 2. Food was cooked well, although nobody did any check backs or asked if we wanted any sauces. No attempt by staff to ask if we wanted any desserts after clearing mains. So we never got any desserts. If we wanted drinks we had to go to the bar. The food was nice but definitely lacking on the service side. I understand it can be busy and easily forgotten about but on a Monday night it shouldn't at all. Hope this review can help to improve your establishment

We went for a meal and I wished I'd never bothered,I had the Farmers burger and it was the driest burger I'd ever had and in my mind nowhere near worth the £17 they charged me,i can honestly say that i've had better Mcdonald burger meals than there food and enjoyed it more......... I won't be having food there again and be warned they only give you so long at your table to vacate it for the next customers I think we were told 1 hour 15 minutes that it!! lol... Make your own mind up as I have,i was very disappointed in my visit there The only good thing was the location and that's it ......

We visited this pub on the 16th March 2023 as a party of four. We got drinks and sat at a quiet table. When the waitress brought menu's she said we only had a hour because another party needed our table no reserved sign we moved to another table and stayed 3 hour, no-one sat at the other table the whole time we were there. Think it was very rude as there was other tables vacant. Food just average.
