Story

About Our Pub
Ten minutes from Central Milton Keynes & two minutes from Cranfield, The Swan at Salford is an attractive tile-hung Edwardian pub in a lovely village setting.

Since opening in 2005, The Swan has won a great local reputation, a view endorsed by the British Institute of Innkeepers in 2007 when it voted me Licensee of the Year (out of 8,000 nominations).

The pub is open every day from 10 am, with lunch served from noon & hot food available all day. We take huge pride in serving the best ingredients we can find, from ethical producers, freshly prepared by our team of chefs.

Whether you drop in for a pint of bitter, want to entertain in our private dining room or fancy a lazy weekend barbecue on our sheltered terrace we promise you a friendly welcome. All day long.

We really look forward to welcoming you to the pub!

Simon & Sam

P.S. We're open from 10am to midnight every day of the week. What are you waiting for?

Wow.best roast dinner I've ever had. Staff very friendly. Food is fantastic. The roast beef is to die for. Lovely surroundings. Highly recommend Only negative is the bit of crackling we received was about the size of a 50p

A bit hit and miss. Lovely atmosphere, service was good until my steak arrived cold and the waiter tried to tell me it was because I ordered a rare steak and not because it was on a cold plate... Was replaced for me with a nice hot version which was good. We didn't stay for dessert due to this experience though and may be a while before we return.

Not a bad pub but sometimes the service is a bit slow. I once arrived and ordered food. The manager then arrived and got his meal before me - ours took nearly an hour. I was not happy. The food is normally very good, quite pricey and the range of drinks is good including at least one good real ale.

We had a very relaxed and delicious lunch where we were left to take our time and enjoy each other's company. Thank you, Sue and John.

The food at this place is amazing and the waiting staff are brilliant. There is also a great selection of beer and wine. The restaurant is clearly set apart from the Bar but both are great. If you're looking for a bar on a cold Winters night to sit in the Warm of a traditional English pub then this is the place to go. Or go with the family to the restaurant there and enjoy a great meal in an English countryside themed restaurant. Ample park at the rear. Warning, it's not cheap!
