Went for dinner with a couple of friends. Beautiful cosy pub. Food was very good. We had the vegan burger, chicken caesar salad and the chicken Parmesan. Good portion sizes and everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Service was top notch and with very warm welcoming smiles throughout our meal. Even after we finished our meal we sat and talked for an hour and we were never interrupted to order more drinks etc.nWill surely return!
Bartender and waitress were very helpful and friendly, food came surprisingly fast for how busy it was and tasted even better than I expected.nnFood was fairly priced and id pay the same again for the meal I had, happily! Live/real ale pint was actually cold and tasted fresh, unlike some pubs where the kegs been tapped a while or the pint is just a little under room temp.nnCracking visit from start to finish!Thank you to the team tonight for making my visit to milton keynes that much better
This pub is firmly in my top three in Milton Keynes and never disappoints. The food is outstanding, and the burger is genuinely the best I’ve had anywhere in Buckinghamshire an absolute must-try for anyone visiting. The staff are excellent: friendly, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do, which really adds to the overall experience. It’s no surprise that the pub is extremely popular, so booking ahead is highly recommended to avoid missing out.
It's been a while since we visited this place. Was there for lunch. Great food, service. Had sharing bread with balsamic vinegar and octopus to start. Then we shared châteaubriand for mains, was cooked to perfection.nThen we went back there again about a month later to celebrate my mum's 70th.
Just had afternoon lunch with the family and out new born grandson, excellent food and drinks, very helpful staff.nnPlenty of choices for both food and drinks, delicious dessert choices, the Irish coffee was the finale nnLimited parking as it gets very busy at popular times, definitely need to book and tables provide plenty of room both inside and outside.nnVery reasonable prices and portion sizes are on the large size, food nice and hot when served.nnAlways a pleasure to visit when we are in the area
