We are not local to Milton Keynes and booked this place to take our mother for lunch. An unusual location on a business park but the actual restaurant was modern and spacious. Usual Harvester food but nicely cooked and hot. Well stocked salad bar and lovely friendly helpful waiter. The service was good which was impressive on a busy Mothers day weekend.

I visited the Harvester at Eastlake on Mothering Sunday and ordered the Sea Bass from the Mothers Day menu. First issue was that they had run out of King Prawns so I was offered alternative prawns. I was then informed that they had also run out of Sea Bass! So I ordered Salmon. The mixed veg that came with the salmon was not good, appeared to be the frozen mixed veg, the carrots were awful. The other order at the table was for bbq ribs. When the ribs arrived they were not cooked properly so were returned. I had to gain the waiters attention to remind him that I was due a dessert but having waited for over half an hour decided to pay the bill and leave. I visit the Harvester regularly and feel that this visit was very disappointing. As it was Mothering Sunday surely extra supplies should have been brought in. I’m not a vegetarian but I have also made a choice to cut down on eating meat. I hope that for future peak visiting times like Bank Holidays and Fathers Day a full menu will be available to diners.

Of the two Harvesters I know of in Mk this is the better. If you don't get here before 6 expect to wait up to 30 minutes or more for your table. You can expect the same generic burgers, steak and grill type menu as all harvesters here. The typical affordable prices and unlimited salad bar with every main are great. For a 2 child family ordering only main meals and refillable drinks our total bill was £43. Our waiter was polite and attentive and joked with our kids which they enjoyed.

Good food, friendly service. Helpful when needed. Fresh food at the salad area, plenty of fresh rolls. Main food came very quickly, beautifully cooked. There are plenty of free parking spaces in front of the Harvester. Okay to arrive to get a table, but best if you reserve ahead of time.

They catered for a large group very efficiently and our waitress was very good. Would have got five stars but some of the salad items hadn't been topped up. Will definitely be gong back.
