A genuinely lovely surprise. The food at Woburn Rooms is exceptional – easily good enough to stand alone as a destination restaurant in its own right. Everything we ate was well thought-out, beautifully cooked and confidently done.nnThe staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive and clearly very well chosen, particularly in the restaurant where the service felt polished without being stiff or overbearing.nnThe restaurant itself is far bigger and better than you might expect from the outside. It has a great atmosphere and is well worth visiting even if you’re not staying overnight – you won’t feel out of place and you certainly won’t regret it.nnThe rooms are equally impressive: beautifully kept, very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. A comfortable bed, good-quality coffee and complimentary water all helped make the stay feel that bit more relaxed and considered.nnOverall, a really enjoyable experience and somewhere we’d happily return to.
Review for restaurant. Visited today for lunch. Service reasonable but not totally committed to ensuring a great experience for ourselves. I ordered a Caesar salad, presentation looked good however, chicken was stone cold and dry. The salad involved lettuce in a dressing with clumps of limp bacon and lumps of Parmesan that had not been incorporated into the dish. Waitress eventually arrived to ask if everything was ok , by this time my partner had finished his meal . I would not recommend the food or service.
I just had an amazing stay for a special occasion! The room was a beautiful suite with lots of character—super comfortable and clean throughout. Everything from booking to check-in was seamless, and the facilities were top-notch. The only downside was that breakfast was a bit pricey at £40, and I thought it was included. Other than that, I highly recommend this place for a delightful experience!
We stayed here for one night with family to celebrate two birthday milestones. From the booking, to the amazing cottages we had 4 booked, the bar & resturant everything was perfect! Olga was fab in ensuring the cottages were ready & prepped. Molly & her team at the bar set our table up amazingly without being requested, and service was fantastic despite it being the wend before Christmas. Maddie & her team ij the resturant were flawless & looked after our table very well. Food was enjoyed by all! Highly recommend the Woburn hotel for a special treat! The team really can not do enough for you! Thank you all for making it a very memorable wend!
What a great find in this lovely village. The hotel provides a high standards of accommodation together with superb catering. We enjoyed a short stay at reasonable cost. We will definitely return.
