A pleasant atmosphere. Can be really busy depending upon the time you visit. I recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Lovely food, a little different to your usual pub grub so don't be surprised with the slightly more expensive cost of a meal. In my opinion, it's worth the extra. Staff were polite, helpful and attentive.

Very disappointed. Poor quality food all round. It is not worth being stingy with lettuce and tomato in a burger that costs £13. The profit margin would still be massive even if an entire iceberg was used! The streak was tough and a bad cut. The fish frozen and minimal amount for £16. The waitress was excellent and did her best to rectify matters. The deserts were good. But overall I would not recommend this restaurant. We have eaten there many times sometimes good but not consistent. This is our worst experience.

Very friendly, efficient staff. Food quite good and a bit overpriced, but if you use Tesco vouchers it is very good value. We went on a Weds lunchtime in March and the place was buzzing but the food arrived very quickly.

Have eaten here a few times when staying locally for business. The staff are lovely and the food is reliably decent. A nice country pub feel to the place and short but decent winelist.

The food was delicious. Our lamb was too tough unfortunately but the manager kindly didn't charge for those dishes, the meal was big enough for me to feel pretty satisfied without it. I had the sorbet for dessert and highly recommend it!
