Story

The Lounge India is situated in the village of Marston Moretaine, formerly the Rose & Crown; a stone's throw from Cranfield, Lower Shelton, Wootton, Kempston and Bedford serving Indian foods and offering a take away service to compete with any in the area.

Lounge India caters for 80 covers, our latest refurbishment has split the restaurant into two rooms to allow for separate parties with an additional lounge bar for dining or just a casual drink. Lounge India is fully air-conditioned, providing customers with a chance to enjoy superb-quality Indian cuisine in a thoroughly relaxed atmosphere, at a pace that suits you. The decor subtly blending in with the harmonius atmosphere to give that air of India. Bookings for lunchtime require advanced notice.

The menu here offers a wonderfully wide selection of dishes, and the staff are only too delighted to make suggestions should the decision be too much. Tandoori Malai Kebab, the exquisite chicken or lamb marinade, and Ragda Pattice are just some of the starter dishes on offer. The Modwali - Flambe and Lounge India Jhaal Bhuna Masala are some of the recommended main choices, colourful, aromatic and bursting with authentic flavours.
