We were here for a quiz league match. The pub is always hospitable, the bar staff are friendly and like to talk to us. The food they lay on is good as well. Only downside is the parking - the car park is often half full of vans.

Dave and his staff provide a very friendly happy and welcoming service. With a good range of beverages at reasonable prices.

Pretty much go here every day for lunch and the service is outstanding, the staff are so lovely and very welcoming, they make you feel right at home! The food is amazing (especially the cheesy chips!!) we couldn't find a better place to enjoy our lunch break :)

Went into the swan today for lunch with a few friends, and was treated in such a rude manor, when we approached the bar we was asked very abruptly, what do you want? we proceeded to pass over our order and was given sparkling water with our vodka instead of lemonade. we was then greeted with a lady saying our food was ready and we need to go pick it up, so we walked in to grab our food which come with no cutlery and there is no where to be seen when asked for some we was told if would be brought out. we never received this. to then when I picked up an onion ring to have a black hair staring back at me was not present, the food was absolutely awful. when they come out to clean up our table my friend told them her drink was flat to which she replied you should of brought it back In to them. they are very rude here and I would avoid at all costs. this is not the first time I have heard bad reviews from them, there was a work lunch happening next to us who also did not sound best pleased.

We tried the swan hotel today with two other friends and found the whole experience very pleasant the beer was first class along with the very pleasant lady behind the bar i think some locals called her Debbie ??? We will definitely recommend the swan hotel to other's and again the lady behind the bar gave us a first class service and would like to thank the lady for a pleasant afternoon really enjoyed the swan experience and we will be back when we will be in the area next month .
