We attended the cookery school today for the adult and child cookery class. The day was fantastic. Service and instruction were great, choice of food was good and the venue itself was perfect. A great introduction to Lainston House and we will definitely return both for more cookery classes (the range is extensive) but also to explore the grounds, the restaurant and book a stay. Thank you for such a lovely day.

Better than excellent... It is so rare to find a brigade of staff who actual care about their Hotel. This Team run an almost perfect place. Food brilliant, service friendly and alert. Immaculate, beautiful rooms in a well refurbished historic House in 36 acres

Ok so my next experience of the Lainston House Hotel is not really typical. I stayed almost every Monday night for over for years and it was like a home from home. Beautiful, comfortable, snug and welcoming. Classy without being stuffy. I am changing job so no more weekly stays. I will miss the hooting of the owls, the weekly joy of finding out which of the lovely rooms I’d be staying in, the great restaurant food and the cozy bar. And of course the fabulous team. Sad day.

Fantastic dinner. Lovely room. Kept awake till midnight with the wedding disco music. Breakfast was ok. We will remember the room and dinner - the rest was not up to the same standard.

Lainston House is a beautiful grand building with a few outbuildings used for occasions such as the Dawley Barn Four Weddings christenings etc. Staying at lainston House is the most wonderful experience with beautifully large rooms with spectacular views. All rooms have everything in that you would ever need if you ever need anything the staff are on hand to meet your every need. Eating at the hotel is a joyous occasion with the most tempting and delicious. Puddings are the most amazing and wonderful experience. All staff at lainston House cleaners manager are fully respectful helpful and cheerful.
