Cathedral Cottage

We stayed here for two nights over the May Day bank holiday. Cathedral Cottage itself is perfectly located for everything Winchester City Centre has to offer, yet still so peaceful that I struggled to believe that I was waking up at the heart of the city. The double garden room is separate from the main house, very private and opens onto the garden. Richard was very welcoming, happy to spend time talking to us about the area and things that we might like to see/do, lovely breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Highly recommended.

What a find! A delightful, cozy, private and well designed Garden Room with en suite and a fridge with real milk for drinks (as opposed to plastic cartons) A warm and friendly welcome, lovely family and great breakfast. We hope to visit Winchester more often now we have found such an amazing place to stay. Thank you. Deb and Terry Brazier.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night while passing through Winchester on a driving holiday. We had no reservations made and stumbled across Cathedral Cottage and were so glad we did! We had our own delightful little ensuite room at the bottom of the garden which was very comfortable, bright and airy and had a delicious cooked breakfast the following morning. Christine, the owner, was very attentive and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning to stay here of we are ever in this part of the world again!!! 😊😊
