Ridiculously expensive; very small dishes. Got the impression it was quite an elite place to go to spend all your money - expect your meal with drinks to cost £40-50 and not actually feel that full up. Much better choice to be found elsewhere in the town centre. Probably won't go again. The food was fine just you can have a Michelin starred meal elsewhere in Winchester for less.

Great location, had a lovely dinner in the private dining room celebrating a wedding. The staff were really helpful and did a great job preparing the room. The food and service was also very good, I would highly recommend No. 5 Bridge Street to anyone.

Great team of staff, nice room. Bottle of sparkly left in room for us as our wedding anniversary so very pleased. Noisy at the weekend (dj until midnight) and they do state this on booking, my only gripe really is that price does not include breakfast (nearly everyone does these days) and breakfast we did have wasn't great considering the £9.50 price tag. For example the flat mushroom was in fact 1/2 a flat mushroom, and the homemade baked beans.......not great! I would recommend for anyone wanting a lively night ending with a comfy bed. Would I book again? Definitely.
