Such a nice friendly place. Really three pubs in one: lively bar, especially when rugby is on; and two restaurant areas either side each with a different character. Really lovely staff, good food, bit pricey, but superbly cooked and delicious. Good beer, fabulous coffee made by people who know how to create froth which is solid on a cappuccino, grand puddings. Well worth going to.

Absolutely fantastic pub and the food is outstanding but the girl with black skirt and maroon top on needs some serious training in customer service. Everything was delivered by a sigh and it became the talking point of our meal. The rest of the staff and service was as usual excellent.

Always a lovely venue with a great atmosphere and good beer. The food was tasty though if I am honest the change in the menu since I was last there (a few years ago?) is a bit disappointing. It really should do better than burgers, fish and chips etc...

Very close to Winchester Cathedral and town centre. Friendly helpful service. Good menu. Parking tricky but staff facilitate best use of small car park.

Good old style traditional pub, no chrome and plastic. Food excellent. Wide choice of drinks. Very popular
