Winchester Royal Hotel

Ideal location allowing you to explore Winchester City with all its lovely restaurants and bars. All the staff we come across were friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, and was spotless. Overall a charming Hotel which we would highly recommend, good value for money and included breakfast, will visit again.

A comfortable and attractive hotel, centrally located, and with friendly helpful staff. Check breakfast times for every day of your stay, though - they vary depending on the day, and unfortunately we turned up too late for Monday's, for which we'd even pre-paid. (However, the staff member did helpfully suggest a nice cafe 5 minutes walk away.)

6 of us stayed for 2 nights (9-11th February) The rooms were lovely, quiet and comfortable and the windows opened! The food was all of a very good standard and the breakfast was excellent. The main reason for writing this review, however, is to commend the staff. Everyone we met bent over backwards to be helpful and friendly - from the reception staff to the chamber staff all were excellent.

Visited this hotel with a view to booking for a special birthday. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Greeted with a pot of coffee and homemade biscuits. Couldn't have been more different to the reception we had at The Millstream a week or so earlier

Staff were very helpful sorting out my voucher. Food from the lunchtime menue was great. Could not fault service received
