Great pub run by Ben and his lovely team. They have rooms but never stayed there so cannot comment. Good selection of ales including local ones. Food is great. Excellent weekly quiz on a Wedbesday plus a themed quiz once a month on the last Thursday.Service: 5/5
Had one night here. Its a lovely hotel. Room was really nice. Staff excellent made us feel welcome. Bar area was cosy inviting and really lovely decor. We will stay again when in area. ThanksRooms: 5/5
Handy corner pub with rooms and restaurant, close to the town centre, bus stops and station. Well-kept beer from local breweries and occasional showcases of one particular breweries offerings.Rooms: 5/5
Recently stayed at this lovely pub/hotel. The rooms are superb, lovely spacious rooms, clean, comfy beds. The pub downstairs serve a great selection of beers and the food is fantastic. 5 minute walk to the centre of town. All in all a great experience!Rooms: 5/5
One of the best pubs Winchester has to offer— if not THE best. Fantastic bar staff, an incredible manager. Special props to Joe, who gave us such a splendid welcome and charming entertainment. Highly recommend to all.Service: 5/5
Great location for exploring the city. Nice and cheap room which contains all you need- bed, bathroom, tea/coffee. The bar area is very nice with quick service and plenty of seats. Rooms: Nice sized room, very cheap Nearby activities: Close to the centre of the city Food & drinks: Beer was a little expensive but same as the rest of the city.
This is a Nice pub with a cute little courtyard at the rear. Only downside is the staff are incredibly slow. Yes, it was a Saturday night but there were only 3 people at the bar and two member of staff serving and it still took at least 10 minutes to be served.Service: 2/5
The next video is made 2 minutes after the two security gard tell me the parking was full when i come with my car. Actually i’m a daily client of the gim. Bad education. Bad training. The review don’t accept video but the parkin was half empty. Safety: safety 000000
Location and service faultless. Our room was on the top floor which is fair enough if we were spring chickens. Oh and there was a quiz night on the day we were there, again great but the staff were flat out dealing with orders, meals taking a hour ETA. I know its not London but bear it in mind if you're either hungry or want a quiet romantic meal. Would I go back? Yes, I'll just check the floor level and what's on in the bar/ restaurant first. Rooms: Perfect for one night. Two might be a stretch. Not much room to swing a cat in the shower.
Perfect spot for a weekend stay. Staff were helpful. Probably the best pub we visited in WinchesterRooms: 4/5
