I've lived in the neighbourhood for the last 8 years. We'd been to the Prince of Wales once in that time, and didn't go back again. I'd watched the news about the renovation and refurbishment with interest, and went for the first time tonight. They've done an excellent job with the renovations, it's modern, clean, lots more space and I'm thrilled we have somewhere on our doorstep to go and have a drink. Staff are lovely and whilst the food is Greene King basic fare it's priced reasonably and perfectly nice. So pleased and strongly recommend!
Been here several times since it reopened last year. Absolutely love it! Great food and really reasonably priced. Lovely staff as well.
I received a lovely welcome for my two dogs and I at The Prince of Wales pub in Horspath road, Cowley, today. They even provided a bowl of water for the dogs. The pub has been recently refurbished. There is a nice seating area outside, too, which will be good in summer. There is a park nearby on Horspath road with a children's playground and large enough for a quick dog walk. The pub is a 10 minute walk from Marsh Park and around 15-20 minutes from Brasenose Woods over the bypass, where you can continue to walk up to Shotover nature reserve.
We have eaten here a few times, the food is good quality, would definitely recommend. Thank you Ana & Bruno you are both very welcoming.

Well one thing I have learned is there are lots of Prince of Wales but this one is indeed one of the best , I was introduced by two friends and we all found the food was excellent and the staff very helpful, will definitely reccomend this to all my family and friends

I went to eat the Sunday Roast and WOW it was delicious! The food was perfect and the staff were so nice! Definitely 5 stars.
Grand reopening of The Prince on my birthday so double celebrating!! Decor and update looks amazing and everything reasonably priced.
